- Write and read speed was great. No Issues.
- Unfortunately laptops no longer have optical drives, so an external is needed if you want to watch DVDs. Good reading speed.
- Quiet and fast DVD creations. Great addition for those all-in-one PC's that no longer have a DVD/CD drive in them.
- I needed an external DVD player because the newer All-in-One computers don't have an internal player anymore. Good speed.
- Laptop's DVD reader stopped working and since I didn't want to take it apart I'm using this as a substitute.

- Just insert the disc into the slot and the machine grabs it and pulls it in.
- Thin, light and a slot load to boot. Great price, great drive! Go for it!

- My new PC doesn't have a disc drive, so I bought this to be able to read or burn CDs.
- I've read 15 CDs of my wife's to burn to a flash drive and it has worked flawlessly.
- I use this thing to rip my CDs to my laptop and it does a perfect job of that.
- I bought this item primarily to rip CD’s with. Good speed.
- This worked well for burning CDs, but it has trouble if there are significant scratches or other blemishes.
- It burns cd's quietly and uploads cds to my computer very well.
