Daylight and nightime video quality knocks it out of the park. You also have the option to select video quality to 480p, 720p, 1080p right from the app, which will benefit those who have limited wifi signal.
Excellent video quality and if you have a good internet connection speeds for watching the video are great.
Nice looking unit, high quality video and images, wide angle view (I also purchased the wedge so I could capture more of the porch in front of the door, it was worth it), good audio, great night vision. I also love the fact that I don't have to pay a monthly fee to keep recordings on the cloud.
After some research, I was down to this or the ring video doorbell. I am so glad I bought the Skybell HD. It works PERFECTLY.
Audio and video recording worked well, and the default motion sensing settings worked well for me.

App is reliable and constantly being updated
The night video recording is especially impressive, it even has color. The videos are stored on the internet.
Now the motion sensor is not working properly, im standing in front of the doorbell it did not detect me at all even for 30 second.
Motion detection not as good as the competition
A hardware kit is not include, it is sold separately on their website. So while most people likely have screwdrivers, you may want to keep this in mind if you'll need more than the standard screws included.

The cover slides on easily and is self-explanatory based on the mic and speaker holes.
Looks neat with the black silicone skin. Just put the sleeve after you snap the nest.
Notifications of activity is live and not delayed. Thank you Nest for making me feel safe & secure from anywhere!
