- The video quality is good and the app download and pairing of the device to our WiFi system was simple.
- The video is excellent and communication is crystal clear.
- AMAZING! Video and voice is clear. You can hear and talk from both ends.
- Second, battery power is quickly depleted. I've had mine for 6 weeks and I'm on my third set of batteries. I've changed my settings to the lowest possible but I'm still changing batteries every two weeks.
- The unit is not descreet as it looks in the picture, it big. There is a delay in the video, there is one way sound.
- I couldn’t find the specs on the Skybell. Ring seemed to have slightly higher video quality in the day and slightly higher audio quality but this may be subjective.
- The Ring video doorbell is a solid choice for people looking to get into smart home technology, and provides security, peace of mind, and ease of use that is not present in many other options at this price point.
- Overall the Ring video doorbell is a solid product. I took a star off for the video and audio quality, as they are nowhere near close to what is represented in marketing materials.
- Video quality is top notch with a wide field of view
- The video quality has nothing to do with my network speed or my internet speed, period. I'm not sure whether it's the camera itself or that Ring compresses the video to the point it's nearly useless, but either way it's a problem.
- The unit’s motion detection and video quality are excellent. I really like having two units at my front door.
- No blind spots and one or other will detect motion. Plus, if one is disabled for some reason the other one will be functional. I am very pleased with my purchase of the RemoBell and highly recommend it.
- Motion sensor works as expected, has good video quality for both day and night. Product can be improved by having a remote connection bell for inside the house since it cannot be heard.
- But the sensor is awesome, Once my motion sensor went off on my cell phone and I looked outside but nobody was there and I watched the video later and it picked up a spider walking over the RemoBell!!!!
- No option to save or store video locally or on a TF card. (Fear not, Remo will let you pay them every single month for storage)
- Interface to adjust sensitivity is intuitive
- Night vision is excellent too, great picture quality in the blackest of night.
- Fast notification (1 second instead of 5 seconds when i tested the defective one)
- The motion function engages when people are walking away, not when they walk up. MANY of my videos are of people's backsides.
- Deleting old videos are a bit of a chore, especially if you have lots of activations
