- Great picture, has "smart" features that have allowed me to hold off buying a smart TV.
- This device makes our TV a Smart TV and we use it for several hours every single day. We have been using it for over a year now.
- Basic player nice features easy to set up, works well with LG smart TV which I have.
- The picture is clear 3D looks great on the LG 55" 3D smart tv. Picked up Wi-Fi easy and was simple to set up.
- The unit has a built in wi-fi which is great. However, there are times when my unit forgets my network. That forces me to re-run the wi-fi set up again. The resolution is quite limited.
- It has Wi-Fi and lots of apps and services
- While it does have smart capabilities, the user interface is so poorly executed that it deters you from using it as such.
- One of the reasons I bought this device was to get "smart TV" capability. Unfortunately, it leaves much to be desired in that arena.
- Connects to wi-fi or Ethernet and has netflix app and hulu plus.
- The unit loads discs quickly. Remote functionality is ok, not great.
- Discs load fast - have it hard wired to the internet so no comment on the wifi.
- The play back on all formats is great. I haven't had any issues.
- Netflix is slow to load. It works most of the time, but is not great.
- I love all the formats, but especially the wifi connection and the software that allows me to hear the audio through my iPad mini.
- In addition, with the USB port you can connect either a flash drive or even an external USB HD and play avi, mkv, and mp4 content.
- It was a breeze to setup and connect to my network.
- The remote is very weak, uses only one small battery, so you have to point it directly at the unit.
- The remote has very few buttons, so to do something, it's a pain pressing several buttons going thru menus to do it, like changing the audio in a movie if it has more than one audio track.
- The unit plays DVD's flawlessly. Nice output. I have yet to purchase a BluRay disk as this is my first player.
- The HDMI worked with my old TV just fine. The unit is compact and easily squeezes on top of my TiVo.
- I have it connected via a HDMI cable to my 3D Toshiba LED 240hz tv which puts out the best tv picture I have ever seen.
- The output selection is only HDMI. No digital audio or component audio output.
- Limited output connectors, only HDMI and Coax Audio! No Optical Audio output!
- This bluray player did everything it said it would do and more. The reason I purchased this is it had a digital optical output so I could play CD's and route it through my audio amplifier.
- It does the job for small TVs which require HDMI only, but why even get a blu ray for small TVs?!? Blu ray is supposed to be enjoyed on a big screen!
