- Great color and resolution at an affordable price.
- Allows access to different formats and the picture quality is excellent.
- Plays most formats, most popular apps, and fancy easy to follow navigation.
- Works well with 4k blue ray discs and well with the occasional 4k tv programming.
- This device delivers really sharp image with good color stabilization. Wifi connectivity is impressive and saves space between my cluttered wires.
- In addition it will upscale blu ray and dvd formats with amazing clarity. Frankly when it upscales a blu ray, it really looks likes its 4k. Easy to use as well.
- This player is inexcusably slow. It takes about a second for a button press on the remote to register and take effect. This makes navigating disc menus very difficult and annoying.
- The user interface is unbeliveably bad. Any time you touch a key on the remote, it puts an overlay on the screen, obscuring part of the picture.
- Allows access to different formats and the picture quality is excellent.
- Plays most formats, most popular apps, and fancy easy to follow navigation.
- I love my new blu-ray player. Excellent wifi services and best movie playback
- The interface/menu has an update feature, so as new apps and firmware are released you can get them via wireless.
- This is a good Blu-ray player. We wished it had more streaming services though. Still needed to get a Roku stick.
- The optical output for sounds work just fine as a HDMI, it just an old stile.
- There's also an optical port to set up with your home theater system.
- On the back of the player, you have the HDMI 1 output, next is HDMI2, then the ethernet port, then an optical out, then the power cord connection.
- It does not come with the 2.0 HDMI cable (which is not right).
- I had some trouble getting the sound output settings right using optical digital out, and the manual is so thin I had to search the net (not Samsung's site) for answers, eventually figured it out but the confusion was minorly irritating.
- Using hdmi get the max out of your setup.
- Audio can be sent to analog outputs while video is sent out via HDMI. This provides compatibility with older A/V receivers.
- Need extra cables and optical cable, but once hooked up, great player.
- There's also an optical port to set up with your home theater system.
- I am giving this 4 stars because there does not seem to be any way to turn off HDMI audio when using the optical connection to a surround system.
