- The cold water is truly a non issue. It is not in use long enough for it to bother me. I received my item on time and in good condition.
- To install the unit, all you have to do is remove your toilet seat, align the unit holes to the seat holes, put the seat on top of it and then tighten the plastic screws.
- It was just unscrewing a couple of existing connections and adding a tee with one more connection into the mix.
- My toilet is compact and this adaptor did not allow a secure connection to waterlines and skewed the inlet valve in the tank, causing leaking.
- I ordered the Luxe 120 with only a cold water connection & this works just fine.
- The fit on our elongated bowl was perfect.
- I've also heard that bidets like this are highly recommended for those with hemorrhoids or similar problems, to decrease irritation and promote cleanliness.
- All the hoses connected easily with no leaks. Very impressed at how simple and intuitive the whole process was.
- I wish the water feed T-connector wasn't plastic, although I'll admit I was able to get a solid leak-free connection on the first try.
- I agree with other reviewers who had problems or concerns with the plastic T connector they supply to make the water connection. I would never trust that cheap part and I didn't even try to use it.
- Really, after taking a few seconds washing off, all you need to do is dry.
- Yes, it’s cold water that washes you off, but you feel totally refreshed afterwards, and extremely clean and pain free.
- Use the self-cleaning setting before you get up or dry down below. If one finishes, flushes and then stands up, and then remembers to do a quick rinse of the nozzle in self-cleaning mode, make sure you actually flipped the switch off of bum washing mode.
- Washing my behind is important to me. In fact, I got into the shower this morning and used the spray nozzle to wash my backside.
- I use it to wash after both urination and defecation.
- The wash function is nice, and keeps the nozzles clean so you don't feel like you are blasting "dirty toilet water" on your rear end.
- I don't really like the feminine wash - it doesn't hit in the right place, the spray is wider and gets my legs wet, and if I'm not careful it sprays out onto the floor, so I am not going to use that setting.
- Keep in mind it has just 3 positions, Women, Wash, and Cleaning. There is no in between positions, or smooth transitions. Whe you left the Women, you are on Wash, and the difference is noticeable.
- And in the summer, it might actually be refreshing. But I do like the idea of a soothing warm wash now and then.
- I've also noticed that when you turn the knob to clean/wash/women modes, the knob does not line up with the label.
- The easy-to-control flow valve allows you to provide just the right amount of water pressure for a full range of cleaning
- To clean the nozzle itself you simply turn the 'self cleaning' knob on the bidet controls and instead of squirting 'out' it squirts down to rinse itself off. Its very independent that way,
- Regarding use, there are two controls. The top knob controls how hard the water sprays. I
- Installation was literally under 5 minutes. build quality is fine, control knobs are smooth in operation.
- I think the speed control is faulty. I will update this once I found out more.
- The controls are solid and deliver the jets correctly.
- After reading all the reviews I picked the Luxe Bidet Neo 180. I have never had one before. The 180 has a lever (vs a dial) and seemed like it would be easier to control.
- The metal t-adapters are stronger, will last longer, and they also have the water pressure valve to control your water pressure.
- When i was looking up reviews of this product, i saw videos of the similar model which has a dial to control how powerful the water jet is.
- The lift up water control lever is really more of an on or off switch and does not allow you to effectively modulate the intensity of the water spray.
- I thought, surely, if there is no warm water feature, it would be an uncomfortable experience. I was wrong!
- I use the self cleaning feature mostly just for fun every time I visit the bathroom, so hopefully that will pay off by keeping the bidet nozzle super clean!
- There is also a nozzle washing feature to ensure the device is always clean too.
- Yes, all the nice features of a high-end electric bidet are great, but it comes at a price (about 10x the cost of a mechanical one). This one is simple and affordable.
- The cover plate is what gets dirty, not so much the nozzle, but the cleaning feature takes place under the cover plate which you still have to clean by hand.
- The self cleaning nozzle is also a handy feature.
- All in all, I love the Neo 180 and all of the added features it provides compared to other Luxe models.
- I forgot to mention the nozzle cleaning function before, but it is a very nice added feature. With regular use, I have found it to be very effective in keeping the nozzles clean.
- It works just as it is described and the guard, the self-cleaning as well as the woman's wash features are really nice as it's not offered in some of the similar but more expensive bidets.
- The only issue I had was that after installation, the toilet seat was sloping forward.
