What customers say about "Key Specs"
NETGEAR AC1750 (R6400-100NAS) Dual Band Gigabit WiFi Router
- Good range and fast speeds. This router replaced a Netgear N750 and the coverage area is much better. No complaint so far.
- The speed and range of this router is unreal. I have a great signal all the way thru my house and no lags. Definitely worth the money.
- A huge upgrade for me. Reliable and great wifi speed I do recommend this to anyone thinking of getting this!
- Nice speed and good signal strength. Solid unit with a lot of options.
- I purchased this router to replace my old netgear N router and was pleased with the speed increase as well as the ease to configure however the range was no better than my old N router that had only internal antennas
- Range was good but the speed was slow and kept cutting off
ASUS RT-AC66U AC1750 Wireless Dual Band (5GHz + 2.4GHz) Gigabit Wi-Fi Router
- This router is a welcome addition for me over my previous one. I only have 75Mbps internet so the AC1750 more than handles my needs.
- The range is excellent, speed is excellent, quality is excellent, build quality is solid.
- It's a nice router, nice features, nice speed, nice coverage. You know it's an upgrade when things like Netflix stops buffering and you get full download/upload.
- This is a nice upgrade from the RT56 from a few years ago. I currently have 200MBPS internet at my home. And my old router only allowed about 50MBPS per device.
- Obviously broken. Wireless speed drops down to as low as 1.5 Mbps while sitting right in front of it. Constantly dropping connections. Streaming video is horrifically difficult, if it works at all.

What customers say about "Network"
NETGEAR AC1750 (R6400-100NAS) Dual Band Gigabit WiFi Router
- Was easy to setup and the antennas help to improve coverage in other areas.
- Not bad for the price. Like the fact that it has 3 adjustable antenna.
- Needed this router for my son's apartment to setup wireless network. Was easy and simple providing great security and connection.
- I found the router easy to install and I am very pleased with the speed. We have half a dozen devices on the network and they all perform very well.
- This works fine IF you are setting it up as the only router on your network. The configuration is not straightforward if this is an access point downstream of your main internet router. I spent 2 hours on the phone with customer service, and never could get it straightened out.
- Still cannot run additional smart tv wirelessly even with an additional purchase of a range extender
ASUS RT-AC66U AC1750 Wireless Dual Band (5GHz + 2.4GHz) Gigabit Wi-Fi Router
- I really like the adjustable antenna's . My only gripe is the brightness of the LED's, only at night, really not a big deal for me though. After setting this router up I was able to do away with my range extender.
- The "Authentication Method" to WPA-Auto-Personal, and "WPA Encryption" to TKIP+AES settings allow for better compatibility if you have a mix of newer and older devices to support.
- I quickly set up PPTP with MPPE-128 bit encryption to connect from my mac and pc and I set up OpenVPN, which wasn't so quick as it required some tweaking.
- Each guest network can be independently granted intranet access, assigned encryption level and password, and have an optional lifetime timer (up to 24 hours).
- Although, I should note it seems it is impossible to encrypt an AC connection with WPA2 encryption on this router.

What customers say about "Security"
NETGEAR AC1750 (R6400-100NAS) Dual Band Gigabit WiFi Router
- Nighthawk series routers are some of the top tier routers on the market today, this router offers the security net gear provides as well as the speed of nighthawk
- Router supplied by Suddenlink would not allow recognition of security cameras without an open security mode, which is not acceptable. NetGear router allowed recognition of security cameras with security mode intact. Allows saving on Suddenlink monthly rental fee also.
- Router good for streaming, and fairly easy to set up security systems online
- Easy to install after I read the directions. Strength is great and was easy to setup the secure connection network at my home.
- Excellent performance, but possible security issue
ASUS RT-AC66U AC1750 Wireless Dual Band (5GHz + 2.4GHz) Gigabit Wi-Fi Router
- I eventually flashed a derivative of the ASUS firmware called "Merlin" which has even more options, such as scripting, security enhancements, etc.
- I plan to set up and install a Virtual Private Network, for security purposes and will use DD-WRT. This router CAN be configured to use DD-WRT, and I was amazed at how simple and powerful its GUI is.
- There's even RADUIS Server options to further add security to WiFi, which has excellent signal strength by the way.
- WPS for 5ghz reverts back to 2.4ghz.
- There are some serious security bugs, although many have been fixed through firmware. The interface has a checkbox to disable non https connections.
