- I purchased this router for my new home and to be able to obtain the fastest wifi speed I could get from the fiber optic cable, provided by my ISP.
- Was getting slow WIFI speed from my previous router. This one more than doubled by downloading speed and the set up was quick and easy.
- I had wifi speed and signal issues for last one year. After replacing my old router with LinksysAC3200..now i get 125 mbps. Installation and configuration is very simple.
- Easy to set up, works seamlessly with all my WiFi items. Also, the Ethernet ports are nice to have of course!
- Worked fine for first 2 days and then every morning the connection speed was slow, i had to restart the router every time to make it refresh connection and establish connectivity again. Returned this router.
- This is a great product. It has amazing speeds and is perfect for gaming or multiple devices on the network.
- Followed the very simple setup instructions and had the new wireless networks up and running with no problems. Speed and range were as advertised. One of the easiest wireless networks I have ever set up.
- This router is EXTREMELY fast downloading and uploading files through Internet and network. Handles multiple wifi devices with ease!!! A must get!!
- I had way too many devices on my network for the router I was previously using but this asus handles the workload and then some beautifully.
- The router covered the entire house and yard from the basement, that lasted about two weeks before it started not broadcasting both 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz. Returned it and tried a different router.
- Was easy to setup and great signal strength thru-out entire house (3700 sq ft) but even though the signal strength was great the WiFi constantly dropped out on many of my devices.
- The Linksys WRT AC3200 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi Router is made to set up easily and work well. Although it looks like your standard Linksys router, the tech inside is anything but standard. It is cutting-edge and bumps the performance of a typical wifi set up significantly.
- Upgraded my router to this Linksys to ensure quality of service as standards evolve. Love the design which sits nice on top of a linksys switch. Also, the smart app makes managing the network a breeze.
- Better distance through the walls, never falls over by design, easy set-up, good support.
- On the software side, it comes with standard Linksys software. If you're familiar with the EA line, this is nothing new. However this is a 'WRT' router, meaning that open source alternatives OpenWrt and DD-WRT are openly supported by Linksys. Both distros already offer builds for this router.
- Powerful router with a ton of feature to prioritize your devices and control your network.
- I bought two of these to build a mesh network in my house. Two of these and a ASUS RT-AC88U have made a poweful single WIFI network that will handle anything I throw at it.
- This router is just what I needed to get my network the boost that it needed. No more buffering while watching Netflix or Hulu.
- Asus router is easy to setup via cat5 cable or Asus app. Expandable with additional Asus routers in an Aimesh network.
- This allows me to control my entire network and attach additional USB drives. Plus the app control is just awesome.
- If you have a Mac and expect to print to a networked printer (LAN or WiFi) do not buy this router.
- At first everything worked well then the days went by and the regular network started being slow and the 5g works well.
- Bought this router because our old one was about 10 years old and we needed an easy way to have better security. The router works great and has great security. It was easy to set up too!!
- Need something with better security than we had. I'm completely satisfied with this router. It does what we needed and much more.
- I was having trouble accessing my online store with my previous router. Something about security settings. I got this one and it solved all my problems.
- This router is also capable of creating a special isolated "guest" network which is not going to be encrypted, your guests will be presented with a web page to enter "guest" password (kinda like at the hotels, airports, also known as a "captive" mode).
- Turn off guest access. This router uses what's called a captive portal for guest access. By itself this isn't necessarily bad but there's no encryption option. Turn guest access off and have peace of mind.
- By default the guest network is disabled. Upon enabling, secondary networks are visible. The implementation is questionable. Instead of using an encrypted WPA based connection it is open.
- If you care about security, I would highly recommend Asus, Apple, or Ubiquity access point since they constantly update their firmware with new features and update their security constantly.
- Powerful router with great range for my two story house. Very easy to set up with nice security features.
- This new router has allowed us to add security, enhance our wireless throughout our home and allowed us to set parameters depending on who connects to what.
- For those who are IT network engineers, this is the router for you. It is loaded with features to provide what power users need for a secure home network and the connection to their work.
- Easy setup, detailed controls available online, beam forming allows for large bandwidth items to take priority, excellent security options.
