Dremel 8050-N/18 Micro Rotary Tool Kit
- Easily files thick dog nails, (My male has good bone, and his nails are very thick. This Dremel has no problem!)
- Easy to change heads, although since I only use it for nails, I don't need this feature.
- Easy to setup and use. Holds a change well. Works like a dream.
- Good controll and holds charge well. Easy to hold and easy to change out.
- The locking button (for changing bits) sometimes gets pushed when I'm holding it, and it's inconvenient to increase the speed while I'm using it since the speed buttons are on the other end.
Dremel 8220-1/28 Cordless Rotary Tool
- Separate power and variable speed switch. Variable from 5-30k.
- EZ twist collet lock (no need to carry around wrench).
- It has low level variable speeds which are very nice for especially slow and deliberate work.
- I like this unit for the power/speed, which is fully adjustable via a slider switch.
- I use this at work to grind dog's nails. I am able to set the speed where I need it and then turn the tool on/off at the separate switch. This is a huge time saver!

What customers say about "Features"
Dremel 8050-N/18 Micro Rotary Tool Kit
- I love the 5 speed settings! For dogs that get scared of that "Dremel noise" I put it on the lowest setting, bearly any noise at all!
- I really like the adjustable speed level which I can adjust for each dog's toenail size and length.
- I like that I can change the speed. it is quieter than most, so some dogs don't freak at the noise.
- It fits the hand well, the variable speed it great, the light at the tool tip came in handy, and I loved it.
- Only thing I don't like is that it defaults to the middle speed setting when you turn it off. Would like it to stay at the last used setting.
Dremel 8220-1/28 Cordless Rotary Tool
- Takes all of the dremel attachments unlike some of the smaller models.
- Handy case that stores the 8220 and many more accessories.
- Quick release collar is new and great feature, no more wrench to chase down.
- One of the best feature is that it fits all my Dremel accessories.
- The only bad point is the carrying case: I wish the case were a bit more flexible in allowing more accessories to be stored with it.

What customers say about "Power"
Dremel 8050-N/18 Micro Rotary Tool Kit
- Battery life is fabulous! I did both dogs' nails 8 times before recharging!
- The recharging elements don't sit tightly enough and sometimes I come in and find it is not recharged completely.
- The battery is strong and holds a charge for quite awhile.
- Not for cutting however battery Will die and you can't change it.
- Batteries don't last very long and charging is very finicky. You have to keep adjusting in order to keep it charging.
Dremel 8220-1/28 Cordless Rotary Tool
- Plenty of torque and speed for grinding large dog nails. Don't waste your money on the cheaper lover voltage ones that bog down under the slightest load.
- 12 volt separate battery and charger incase you want to have additional batteries. It is a quick charging battery taking about 1 hour.
- Best feature is the removable battery. I can always have one on charge while I'm using it.
- The battery holds a charge for a long time, and is fast charging.
- I wonder if I got a dud for a battery. I can only do about 20 minutes on a medium speed before the battery dies. I am not impressed.
