- Separate power and variable speed switch. Variable from 5-30k.
- EZ twist collet lock (no need to carry around wrench).
- It has low level variable speeds which are very nice for especially slow and deliberate work.
- I like this unit for the power/speed, which is fully adjustable via a slider switch.
- I use this at work to grind dog's nails. I am able to set the speed where I need it and then turn the tool on/off at the separate switch. This is a huge time saver!
- Variable speed so you can slowly work up speed without scaring your dog
- This is a great tool. Has much the same heft and balance as the corded tool but without the hindrance of the cord. Plenty of power & speed.
- Fantastic for dog nails...can't wait to play with other tools!! Battery holds a life for long tome! So glad I got the variable speed!!
- Great for dogs of any size since the speeds are easily adjustable while working. So much better than my other 2 older Dremels.
- I have a corded Dremel that is great for relatively heavy-duty rotary work, but needed a lighter cordless unit for quick lower-speed work.
- Portable, enough power, light weight for hobbies and small fix it jobs.
- Nice product, moderate weight in your hand.
- Nice compact tool kit! Easy to handle and work with it.
- Good size considering the power
- The size of the tool is bigger than what I expected and am not liking that.
- The small size of this unit is perfect.
- Light weight and maneuverable. Easy to use.
- However, the extra weight might take a little getting used to.
- Takes all of the dremel attachments unlike some of the smaller models.
- Handy case that stores the 8220 and many more accessories.
- Quick release collar is new and great feature, no more wrench to chase down.
- One of the best feature is that it fits all my Dremel accessories.
- The only bad point is the carrying case: I wish the case were a bit more flexible in allowing more accessories to be stored with it.
- A case and plenty of bits included
- Perfect! Ten different speeds and easy to use. Item is as described as well as the attachments it comes with.
- I love this Dremel! Variable speed and the speed adjustment is in the perfect spot to easily adjust the speed with your thumb.
- Bought it for keeping our dogs nails short and manicured. Works great! The variable speed option is great.
- The adjustable speed settings of this Dremel do not work well at all.
- Plenty of torque and speed for grinding large dog nails. Don't waste your money on the cheaper lover voltage ones that bog down under the slightest load.
- 12 volt separate battery and charger incase you want to have additional batteries. It is a quick charging battery taking about 1 hour.
- Best feature is the removable battery. I can always have one on charge while I'm using it.
- The battery holds a charge for a long time, and is fast charging.
- I wonder if I got a dud for a battery. I can only do about 20 minutes on a medium speed before the battery dies. I am not impressed.
- Li Ion means no battery memory, longer life, shorter recharge times
- This 8v unit is about the right power to do dogs nails , has a variable speed so you can start out slow to not scare them.
- When I ordered this I was worried that it wouldn't have the power I needed, or the battery wouldn't last long enough. Both of those turned out to be untrue.
- I highly recommend this unit to anyone who needs a quick and handy battery operated Dremel with some power.
