What customers say about "Features"
Western Digital Gold 4TB Enterprise Class Hard Disk Drive
- Read speeds are great, they seem higher, but I haven't really tested other than transferring from the network drive to my PC.
- Very fast sustained read & write speeds. Built for high workload environments.
- Great drives, good speed and quite enough for the job.
- Very quiet and fast. I just ran a disk speed and got Read 177 Write 185 and a second identical drive of.
- Painfully slow in real world use. Alright, I bought it for reliability vs speed but I'll really be glad when mechanical HD's are gone forever.
Western Digital Black 4TB Performance Internal Hard Drive
- WD Black hard drives have a great reputation for long turn reliability.
- No issues putting this drive in an existing system, faster operations than usb passport.
- Drive was easy to install and is relatively fast considering 7200RPM.
- It's been decades since I've heard a disk drive this loud. It sounds like a rat chewing through a wall every time the drive is accessed.
- Great capacity but this thing is so loud, I even installed it with rubber washers and it is still the loudest drive I have ever owned.
