About the Product
Ultrastar 7K6000 also delivers greater storage efficiency through high performance, achieving up to 3X higher random write performance, thanks to HGST media cache architecture, a diskbased caching technology, which provides a large non-volatile cache on the disk.
The new Ultrastar 7K4000 provides twice the data storage capacity of the prior generation Ultrastar 7K3000 drive, and does so using fewer watts. Hitachi BDE implementation encrypts all data.
