- High quality video with lots of options. The menu is intuitive and easy to navigate. For 4k video you will need to purchase a high quality SD card.
- The video quality I was getting out of the YI 4K+ was so poor, I became desperate to get rid of it.
- All of the camera functions seemed to work fine. Battery life was OK. Quite good actually. I had no SD card problems since I bought the best and fastest brand name I could get. But the video quality was always poor. Dark, grainy and oversaturated reds.

- Wifi connected. It works fantastically! I can use phone not only control the camera, but also download（or delete）all the pictures and videos.
- Compatible other brand waterproof case and accessories (needs extra purchase).
- Wide-angle lens can take more vision view. I could use it as a car recorded camera(use a car plug and charging cable).
- The main problem is the audio and video don't match which just causes a headache if you need the audio. The mic isn't that great either.
- Accessories are fairly hard to find and aren't of good quality.

- Nice UI for settings (much better than my Hero 4 Silver)
- Awesome video and stabilization quality. Sound is not the greatest but far better then the Hero 6 in my opinion.
- The stabilization works great, I tried a chest mount with and without that setting and the difference is pretty amazing.
- Voice control is very handy and works well.
- Audio is horrible. It sounds like you are in a cave and what audio is recorded is very tinny. Very little to no bass, even with an external mic.
- The only thing I wish it had is the one button operation that the Hero 5 and 6 had.
