Garmin VIRB Ultra 30
GoPro Hero5 Black
- Size is small and button layout is very straight forward is easy.
- The video quality is decent for camera of this size and they sound is quite good.
- The camera button is in the same place as any other camera so it's good for her to learn photography and it will apply to other cameras later in life. It's the perfect size for her and since its tough, I don't worry about her ruining it
- I suppose you could say battery life isn't fabulous (but given their physical size, that's probably not surprising).
- Great camera for its size, very high quality and great size to travel.
- The product is great for travel due to small size.
- This GoPro is a must for a traveller. So compact and versatile.
- Really just wanted a quality camera that is small and light enough to attach to my motorcycle, RC cars or, dog to make some fun videos.
- Can't believe it's so small, i carry it with me all the time in the car. purchased a Feiyu F5 to go with it. Perfectly stable video.
- Touch screen is great! No weird funky missed touches and is responsive, simple and layout well.
- The screen on the back (like the gopro 5) is much more useful than I imagined it would be. My 2 year old daughter uses it as her personal camera to take pictures of everything.
- The touchscreen is nice and big, bright, and responsive on a camera this size.
- Recording or photo taking can be initiated through physical buttons (like your traditional camera), on the LCD display or through the mobile app or remotes.
- There were a couple gauges that didn't display data like fuel consumption and torque but those don't display anything in Torque Pro either. Keep in mind not every car will display every field.
- Love this new GoPro! The LCD screen on the back and the capability to link it to my phone or tablet for a better view is fabulous!
- This updated version is awesome because the LCD screen is built in.
- Great camera, am glad I went with a model with the display screen on the back.
- The new go pro has added great features such as the touch screen and voice.
- The thought screen is really nice but I think that the menus are sometimes a little tough to navigate because it's such a small screen, I don't really let that bother me because it's so simple to connect tablet or phone to it navigating the menus on the mobile is very fast and easy to change.
- The camera will not engage Stabilization mode in the 4K...but works great at the lower res modes.
- Image Stabilization - my current cameras do not have it, really makes a huge different.
- Built-in image stabilizer is a gimmick. Stabilization it provides is barely noticeable. In situations where you have real shaking, you'll need separate gimbal.
- The color is not as good and the image stabilization is not as good either.
- BUT you have to turn off Stabilization if you want to do video and stills at the same time.
- The settings for video formats are great. There are many options.
- The video was crisp and clear, the new generation of this GoPro is getting better.
- My son has taken the GoPro on several skiing trips, videos are very clear. Easy to use, love it!
- Nice camera, easy to use. Image stabilization works fine - cant complain.
- Takes fantastic slow motion video. Image stabilization works very well in canceling small vibrations out.
- Video quality degrades at night.
- Wi-Fi doesn't have any noticeable effect on battery life.
- Once bonded to your home Wi-Fi – you can control it like a live feed camera, or, tied it together camera for a multi-shoot video.
- It survived salt and chlorine water.
- The interface is clunky, and it only works with a handful of micro sd cards.
- The only thing I didn't like was the pickiness with the micro SD card. I had some already but none of them would work with this camera. Had to go out and buy another one. But that's not a huge pain so I didn't deduct any stars off.
- A major down side is battery life. i found the battery life was very short when using bluetooth and wireless, while recording. you might get 20-40 minutes of recording.
- Great for vacations and it comes water resistant now. I've been using it in for snowboarding lately and the picture quality comes out great.
- Durable easy to operate and awesome picture...great for family moments...like its small design and water resistance.
- Much better than the previous model. Water resistant without a case to a certain depth.
- Very user friendly and the voice control features is awesome!
- Great Action camera, love the GPS setup and all the software that can be used with it.
- In order to use the app, it appears I must use my data as connecting the GoPro unit disconnects the wi-fi.
- Good product. Be careful when purchasing the SD card. The camera does not support all types and some SD cards will say they work with GoPro cameras but they do not.
