Sony FDR-X3000
GoPro Hero5 Black
- find that I prefer the way this camera fits in my pocket better than my GoPro, it's not a size issue just the layout of the cameras.
- The size is also a plus and I like the fact that it has a tripod female screw mount built in which means it will mount to most accessory mounts.
- This a camera for the everyday to the action packed. It's small, compact, and can do a variety of configures just by using your smartphone.
- It has waterproof housing which gives very good shock and water protection, but it adds some size to the camera and muffles the sound.
- Battery life is Horrific, as is the overall weight in the case. It's basically a 'handy cam' without the screen
- Great camera for its size, very high quality and great size to travel.
- The product is great for travel due to small size.
- This GoPro is a must for a traveller. So compact and versatile.
- Really just wanted a quality camera that is small and light enough to attach to my motorcycle, RC cars or, dog to make some fun videos.
- Can't believe it's so small, i carry it with me all the time in the car. purchased a Feiyu F5 to go with it. Perfectly stable video.
- The built-in screen on the camera is a little difficult to read and becomes a major issue when it's night time as there is no backlit on the screen (had to use a flashlight to view the screen).
- This camera has GPS built in, and will display a cool overlay if you want.
- The one thing that they could have done to really put the icing on the cake is a backlight screen. In dim areas you can't see the display.
- he VLC program allows me to view the video, but I cannot edit the video,or display speed in the video, as accessing the GPS data is not possible.
- Screen is too small can hardly read
- Love this new GoPro! The LCD screen on the back and the capability to link it to my phone or tablet for a better view is fabulous!
- This updated version is awesome because the LCD screen is built in.
- Great camera, am glad I went with a model with the display screen on the back.
- The new go pro has added great features such as the touch screen and voice.
- The thought screen is really nice but I think that the menus are sometimes a little tough to navigate because it's such a small screen, I don't really let that bother me because it's so simple to connect tablet or phone to it navigating the menus on the mobile is very fast and easy to change.
- Slow motion feature works fine, but I recommend you reduce the quality to 1080p because the frame rate will jump to 120fps. You can still do 4K in slow motion and yes it’s indeed beautiful.
- The video quality is superb. Make sure you have the right sd card with the right read write speeds.
- Very smooth video while walking and moving the camera around. It will get a little movement if you're running or riding a bike over rough terrain.
- Great picture/video quality. I’m glad the 3.5mm jack is in the back instead of the bottom.
- Nice little camera, the 4K video and stabilization is excellent.
- The settings for video formats are great. There are many options.
- The video was crisp and clear, the new generation of this GoPro is getting better.
- My son has taken the GoPro on several skiing trips, videos are very clear. Easy to use, love it!
- Nice camera, easy to use. Image stabilization works fine - cant complain.
- Takes fantastic slow motion video. Image stabilization works very well in canceling small vibrations out.
- Video quality degrades at night.
- The built-in Wi-Fi works flawlessly as you can use the camera with the smartphone app. I love this feature because when the camera is mounted on my helmet, instead of removing my helmet to get to my camera, I can configure it just by using my iPhone.
- I expected worse from sound quality, but I was way surprised. Good sound.
- NFC connection (or just scan the qr code) makes connection a snap.
- The connection to your mobile device works nicely with the PlayMemories app, very easy to understand and really makes shooting a time-lapse a breeze.
- It's water resistant and good quality, but I wish it had a speaker for playing back the video's audio.
- Not waterproof but water resistant (rain, dropped in a puddle, etc.), you’ll need to install its housing unit if you’re planning to take this out to surf, fish, or any place with a large body of water.
- Great for vacations and it comes water resistant now. I've been using it in for snowboarding lately and the picture quality comes out great.
- Durable easy to operate and awesome picture...great for family moments...like its small design and water resistance.
- Much better than the previous model. Water resistant without a case to a certain depth.
- Very user friendly and the voice control features is awesome!
- Great Action camera, love the GPS setup and all the software that can be used with it.
- In order to use the app, it appears I must use my data as connecting the GoPro unit disconnects the wi-fi.
- Good product. Be careful when purchasing the SD card. The camera does not support all types and some SD cards will say they work with GoPro cameras but they do not.
