Dell KM717
A Surprisingly Unique Design
The KM717 Premier from Dell is one of the most unusual wireless sets available on the market today. The first things that catch the eye are the construction and the shape of the mouse. The ergonomic and lightweight design make it really stand out. However, right from the get-go, you can tell - it is not an all-purpose model. Although it is quite convenient to use this mouse throughout the day, its shape is far from being perfect for gaming purposes.
Other than that, the keyboard that comes in the package is fairly basic and doesn’t feature any fancy elements like a rest pad or additional keys. Nevertheless, it can be used quite comfortably for both typing and gaming, mostly thanks to the function (Fn) buttons that compensate for the lack of additional buttons.
The only real hiccup that you may run into with this model is the Bluetooth connectivity that can lag quite a bit when switching from one device to another. However, if you intend on using the kit with one system, once paired, the lag becomes barely noticeable.
Despite some minor flaws, the Dell KM717 keyboard and mouse set is perhaps one of the best budget kits for office use. Though relatively basic, a couple of versatility features that you generally won't find in this price range makes the product worth a spot on our list.

Logitech MK735
Everything You Need in One Package
The Logitech MK735 is a wireless mouse and keyboard kit that resembles a standard set you can usually find at any electronics shop. That said, it is much more than just a simple wireless set.
First things first, the kit features a unifying receiver that works as a link between the mouse, keyboard, and your PC, so you won’t have to pair the mouse and keyboard separately. Unlike older Logitech keyboards, this model features a handy LCD screen on the top side that conveniently shows you the connection and battery charge status, as well as other important data.
On top of the regular set of keys and an additional number keypad, the keyboard features multiple multimedia and utility hotkeys that enable quicker access to various programs and applications. Last but not least, the keyboard includes a palm rest that is nice to the touch and fairly simple in cleaning.
Conversely, the mouse features 5 programmable buttons that will come in handy for different tasks and purposes, however, its overall functionality is pretty basic (as far as the sensor quality and DPI rates go).
To sum things up, the MK735 combination pack from Logitech will be a good option in case you are looking for a decent keyboard and mouse that can be used on a daily basis. Reasonably ergonomic, featuring responsive keys, and simply easy to use, it is great for typing and gaming.

Microsoft (QHG-00001)
The Classic Keyboard and Mouse Combo
The Microsoft QHG-00001 is one of those sets that don’t have a lot of nitty-gritty features to them, however, it still has the kicks and the build quality to stay relevant at this day and age of wireless appliances and gadgets.
In order to make it more compact and accessible for use with laptops, the keyboard only features a standard set of keys. The only concern we have with it is that it can be somewhat uncomfortable to type with, especially if you are a fast typer. The reason behind this is that all of the keys have a relatively short travel time, which makes typing fast a bit of a challenge. However, it is by no means a negative thing when it comes to a compact product like this.
Conversely, the mouse is not something to write home about, however, it will be a good alternative to laptop touchpads or if you need something more precise than the standard cursor. When it comes to power means, the QHG-00001 requires 2 AAA batteries for the keyboard and a single AA battery for the mouse to run smoothly. Once turned on, you should expect about 4 to 6 weeks of runtime from one set of batteries, given that the set is being used regularly, which is a decent result for a wireless set.
In the end, if you are looking for a standard wireless set of keyboard and a mouse with the impeccable build quality, then Microsoft QHG-00001 will be a good option to consider.
Jelly Comb JC0317
Versatile and Affordable
The Jelly Comb JC0317 wireless keyboard and mouse stand out from the crowd of similar products due to the slick appearance of the mouse and the ultra-slim design of the keyboard. The latter is made of aluminum and has an alloy finish that makes the keyboard both durable and lightweight.
The mouse has 3 DPI settings of 800, 1200, and 1600 that can be changed with a single press of the button located near the mouse wheel. Although it is not much for gaming, this kind of DPI range is more than acceptable for work and your everyday purposes. As for the other aspects, the mouse features 4 buttons, with 2 of them being programmable.
Further down the list are the wireless capabilities, so let's take a closer look at them. As you may already know, many wireless keyboards and mice kits utilize the 2.4 GHz Bluetooth receivers. That being said, unlike most other devices, this one actually can work on long distances (by keyboard standards, of course) of up to 32 feet, which is quite impressive for such a small device.
Although the keyboard's design looks far from ergonomic, the device in question is actually quite practical. The high-quality keys are responsive and easy to push, which makes the typing process quiet and comfortable.
All in all, the Jelly Comb JC0137 wireless keyboard and mouse combo is light and compact, while the high build quality makes it one of the most attractive and affordable sets for everyday use.
Logitech MK295
Excellent Mid-Range Option
Yet another keyboard and mouse kit from Logitech, the MK295 is designed with better ergonomics in mind. That said, the main selling point of this wireless pack is the low power consumption that enables both the keyboard and the mouse to work for months on end.
Requiring only 2 AAA for the keyboard and 1 AA battery for the mouse, the set can be used for up to 18 months before a battery change is required, which is quite surprising, to say the least. The only downside to this is the relatively short operational range of these wireless devices that only covers 10-15 feet.
As for the actual usefulness of the keyboard, it has everything you might need for both work and recreational purposes. Standard keys and number keypad aside, you also have access to your mail, start menu, calendar - you name it. Moreover, the left side of the key bar has multimedia buttons as well as volume keys.
The mouse that comes together with the keyboard is pretty standard when it comes to functionality. But it has almost the same power retention as the keyboard, making it an optimal choice for day-to-day use.
All things considered, the Logitech MK295 is an excellent keyboard and mouse for use at home and in the office thanks to their low-energy consumption, spill-proof design, and ergonomic construction.
What Is a Wireless Keyboard and Mouse?
While the separate mouse and keyboards are widely available on the market today, the combo models that are designed for working together as one unit are not as much of a common sight. These sets are meant to deliver the maximum comfort of use and top-notch performance at the same time. It can be frustrating trying to find the perfect combination of a mouse and keyboard and that is one of the reasons why such offers exist.
There are quite a few types of these wireless kits out there. To name a few, there are keyboards for typing, gaming, or combo models that are well-suited for general purposes. As for mice, there are those that are engineered specifically for the purposes of gaming. Then, there are your everyday mice that offer a bit of everything. But before you make a decision, you will need to check if the wireless set is compatible with your system. Otherwise, you may face some of them serve different purposes, thus, it is important to figure out why do you need the keyboard and mouse for first connectivity issues in the long run. Although the majority of wireless products operate on the 2.4 GHz frequency, do not worry, the keyboard and mouse will not interfere with other devices in your house such as TVs, Wi-Fi routers, and smartphones.
