Bigger grilling area than the comparable Traeger, also less expensive.
This is a great BBQ. It works very well. Maintains cooking temperature not perfectly but adequately. It will hold/cook up to three chickens but won't fit a large turkey in the drum without stuffing the bird in.
Produces plenty of smoke in about 10 minute intervals.It's made in China. If you don't want to invest big bucks, this is the unit to go with. You can cook meats fast or low and slow. You can Q with direct fire or indirect fire.
VERY easy to use. just set the temperature and you're all set! the other advantage is you don't need to refill or lug around heavy propane tanks. i order different flavor pellets on amazon and they are delivered to my front door! Smells great too!
Initially would not ignite properly because fan didn't work. Danson sent a replacement fan and showed me how to install it. FINALLY was able to get the darn thing working.
This piece of junk did not work when I received it fresh out of the box & now it's broke again!!! What a waste of money! First issue was a temp control module board, which the manufacturer actually sent me directly & I had to install it.
This item is ok it goes out all the time when it is on the smoke setting. We called and they sent a new fan but still the same thing. If we do 200 degrees or higher it works most of he time but will sometimes goes out if it is windy. So I give it a 3 I would not recommend this one to buy.

The food is so tasty! I have done everything from hamburgers to chicken and pulled pork. Everything that comes off this grill tastes like it is from an bbq restaurant.
The chicken came out perfectly and was so juicy which i never get that when i grill chicken. I was very impressed with this grill and cant wait to use it more.
I love the way they barbeque and smoke the food, always a reliable degree of heat, and the meat comes out moist. I cannot recommend the Traeger enough.
We used to have the small Traeger Grill and we loved it so we upgraded to a bigger capacity. Thanks Treager!!!
This is the most awesome grill that I have ever seen! Assembly took a little while and was very exciting!

Was comparing this between Traeger (which have owned, and liked), and PitBoss. Pros for PitBoss sturdier construction, smokes/cooks great.
It is made of strong metal and solid once assembled. Shipping was good and it got here quickly. No problems.
This is a large, heavy, solidly-built grill. It was my first wood pellet grill and there was a learning curve, but I figured out how to use it soon enough.
This is a great wood pellet grill. Heavy, solid, well-built -- it looks to have a long lifespan. It produces tasteful food. And it MIGHT be safer than charcoal grilling.

I was so excited to get this grill for the weekend. It was easy to assemble and get going. It has a great place for me to keep my bbq tools and a front rack to set stuff down so I am able to easily put things on and off the grill.
The construction is solid and the instructions are easy to follow.
Not as solid of construction as I was hoping for.

Customer service was very responsive, helpful in troubleshooting & sent replacement parts immediately.
Large wheels for moving and Electronic control (Smoke, 200, 225, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, 475, High). So easy to use.
Reaches temperature fast and can get up to 500 degrees in a hurry.
Love it works great,you can find them at your local hardware store (menards) for 400 to 500 I wish I bought one sooner. Heats up fast temp control is digital. No flare ups if you maintain it.
Has had auger issues from the beginning and a yr later continues. Once it gets running it does a good job of cooking but it takes average 20 minutes to continually unjamb the auger.
Product sq. foot not as advertised very small; used only 3 times and the thermostat quit working, thermometer did not work when received it. Very cheaply made.

I love the orange badging and and handle which makes it stand out from the other Pro Series grills.
Not too difficult to install, just keep track of which colored wire plugs into which. Works great!
I love this product. One needs to really follow the directions on subsequent start ups. It is a little more technical than a grill but well worth it.
Fabulous. You can control the temperature and walk away.
