- Perfect size for portability but still has enough cooking surface to cook on.
- I debated on the size, but the surface area was plenty for the usual amounts for a family of 4, and the grill heats up quickly.
- It is a small unit and doesn't have a large cooking surface but I have smoked 12 pound plus briskets on it with no problem as far as pellet smokers go it's certainly is worth buying to try out and it's portable.
- Smoker was WAY hotter than the set temp, well over 100 degrees and went thru the whole hopper of pellets in less than four hours.
- I only had grill couple days and really like the features, set temp put food on grill, set a timer and forget it.
- It's nice because it has a factory mounting location and adds working surface but it looks and feels cheap to me.
- This is a great product for cold weather cooking. They suggest you only use this on temps below 35* but let me tell you that you will go through less pellets and the temp will hold much better.
- I would highly recommend this blanket for anyone cooking outdoors in temps below 35 degrees.
- Holding temp better and using less pellets as well. Great buy
- Only down side is that the temp tops out at 450ish, but really if I need to sear something at that heat I’ll do it on the stove anyway. It’ll be the last grill you will ever need.
- The construction is solid and the instructions are easy to follow.
- The construction is well done and solid hi grade stainless steel as I live on a beach and its not rusted, I am 200 pounds and surf at 45 so I am still strong and it is heavy.
- Don't get me wrong I still love this grill, it's just that the quality of construction could be better.
- Not as solid of construction as I was hoping for. Does not cook as evenly as I expected.
- The GMG Davy Crocket has similar poor construction (thin metal, crappy hinges, bad leg structure) and horrible performance.
- Well built, solid, good looking, attaches easily & adds a large amount of prep area to your grill.
- It's heavy enough to hold heat, has a nice exterior finish on the material, with the straps it won't flop around.
- Mine fit my 22 series grill very easily and seems well constructed. I am completely satisfied and expect good service.
- Quality construction easy to install. Works great
- The best part is the Bluetooth feature that allows for seeing what the grill is doing and it allows for automatically changing the temp and time as needed if you are using a preset profile.
- After the simple fix, worked like a dream! Next cook was a brisket and it came out perfect! Wifi is a cool feature! Folding legs are a little clunky.
- The brisket came out great thanks to my other digital thermometers. Using the grill is much easier to use for high temp smoking and am overall l I'm satisfied with it.
- The wifi feature is great for checking temps from inside the house and being able to set a grilling profile has made this a start and walk away grill.
- Love the wi-fi feature, can start or stop grilling or check grill or meat temperature from anywhere via my cell phone.
- Great addition for temp control in all seasons and reduction of amount of pellets used due to the addition of insulation
- Fabulous. You can control the temperature and walk away.
- We got this grill toe replace a propane Weber. What a difference, temperature control, no more propane tanks to lug in and out of the car and great flavor.
- The pellets feed in automatically and the digital controller keeps the temp close to where you set it.
- The bad news...after a handful of uses, the digital control unit shorted out.
