- It is the PERFECT size for us. Large enough to cook for a party (you could get a full-size brisket, a medium pork shoulder and a rack of ribs or two on this grill at the same time using both racks), but it doesn’t take up the whole backyard.
- Everything we grill/smoke turns out perfect (and we are not chefs)! Very happy with this purchase and will never go back to gas grills or other types of smokers.
- The temperatures that we set are on target and it evenly cooks the food. It's very heavy duty and we look forward to using this grill for many years to come.
- I have had zero issues with the grill. Already cooked on it 7 times and everything (steaks, ribs, hamburger, chicken and pizza) turned out extremely good. The temps are right where you set them and very efficient on pellet use.
- It seems that the temperature sensor is essentially ignored. You can dial up 225 and actually experience 250 instead.
- It's nice because it has a factory mounting location and adds working surface but it looks and feels cheap to me.
- This is a great product for cold weather cooking. They suggest you only use this on temps below 35* but let me tell you that you will go through less pellets and the temp will hold much better.
- I would highly recommend this blanket for anyone cooking outdoors in temps below 35 degrees.
- Holding temp better and using less pellets as well. Great buy
- Only down side is that the temp tops out at 450ish, but really if I need to sear something at that heat I’ll do it on the stove anyway. It’ll be the last grill you will ever need.
- Other than that, it's a pretty good grill. Good size, good construction, big hopper.
- Quality construction. Does a nice job
- My grill had some manufacturing defects. One of the metal plates connecting the legs to the kettle was quite bent.
- One of the cooking grates was also bent, though it's possible that was by design??
- I find large areas where the paint was completely chipped or scratched off along with areas that were scuffed up terribly
- Well built, solid, good looking, attaches easily & adds a large amount of prep area to your grill.
- It's heavy enough to hold heat, has a nice exterior finish on the material, with the straps it won't flop around.
- Mine fit my 22 series grill very easily and seems well constructed. I am completely satisfied and expect good service.
- Quality construction easy to install. Works great
- I was still able to put it all together without any issues. The grill fired up and work great. The temp control works nice.
- Love it.. Simple operation. Great temperature control..
- The temps are right where you set them and very efficient on pellet use. I'm very impressed with the workmanship, quality and functionality of this unit!!!!!
- I would have preferred to have the grill control the auger without manual calibration to the temperature control since according to the manual varies according to environmental conditions and fuel.
- Temperature control is not good. I've had as high as 40 degrees above my set temp.
- Great addition for temp control in all seasons and reduction of amount of pellets used due to the addition of insulation
- Fabulous. You can control the temperature and walk away.
- We got this grill toe replace a propane Weber. What a difference, temperature control, no more propane tanks to lug in and out of the car and great flavor.
- The pellets feed in automatically and the digital controller keeps the temp close to where you set it.
- The bad news...after a handful of uses, the digital control unit shorted out.
