- It's a good set. No doubt. I have had these knives for about 3 months now, so I have enough experience with them to make a claim. They cut wonderfully, from very large and firm vegetables to steak to cheese.
- This set of knives looks nice and takes up a minimal amount of space. I learned you can actually also take it apart to clean each part individually.
- This set has been a great step up for me from those cheap block sets available at the big box retailers. Definitely worth the extra cost and care needed to preserve the sharpness of the blades.
- I have previously bought this set for myself over a year ago and they are still very awesome sharp and high quality knives. This time around I gifted it to a family member and they indeed love because they previously had bought a knife set from I believe Chicago brand and they were dull and rusting.
- These are exellent knifes, Germán forged steel and a good sturdy synthetic handle, they come pre sharpened, sobbed careful with them they are extremely sharp.
- The knives themselves are really nice. This is my second set of Mercer knives. They are very sharp and are high quality.
- This german steel feels great, cuts like a scalple. Worth the money for how bad ass this steel is. Full tang, classic feel. Never enjoyed cutting on a wood board so much.
- This knife set was exactly what I was looking for, for a long time. I wanted a less bulky block set with only the pieces that I would actually use on an everyday basis. All my other block sets had so many pieces that we never used and the knives were not sharp as they should have been.
- This knife set was a gift for our son along with the 7" forged knife. After reading reviews and research this set was my choice. I like the new look of the glass holder vs the old wood block, which is still great.
- Very pleasing to look at in the kitchen. We have a very small kitchen. so this set fit perfectly while still providing what we needed for cooking.
- The handles are very grippy, just awesome
- Stand is easy to clean, as long as you don't put wet knives in, which will cloud the inside of the glass
- Stand breaks down and is easy to wash while maintaining somewhat modern look.
- The stand is very modern nicely designed. I like that is glass so you can see everything. Like it's floating. Just a perfect set up will recommend
- Only one small issue - they stand "Tall" so you cant really take out the longer knives without bumping into bottom of cabinet assuming they are on kitchen counter. no big deal though - just tip it forward.
- On use I was amazed. These things are sharp, heavy, and balanced.
- It's very clean looking and the knives were sharp for a while before having to sharpen them.
- The knives feel very solid and take a good edge. Even the bread knife is crazy sharp. Very happy with the purchase.
- The chef's knife has good balance and handles well. I'm a vegetarian so I cook with lot's of vegetables, which means lots of chopping.
- Solid handles, durable blades, and a quietly stylish holder. Highly recommend.
