- Coming from that previous projector to this one, the higher 1080P resolution, colors, and contrast ratio is more than enough to keep me happy. Unless you are sitting less than 6 feet from the screen, you won't miss the detail that a 4K version offers.
- Plenty bright even for daytime use. Resolution and focus are top notch.
- I un-boxed the projector, plugged it in, turned it on, then focused the picture. The brightness, color and contrast were spot on right out of the box!
- Very good projector for the money, very bright, native 1080P, good color.
- The only criticism I see a little bit of a rainbow artifact every now and then on high contrast scenes.
- I found this Optoma with great Contrast ratio and lumens with DLP technology.
- Fully compatible at full HD and plays moves with minimal DLP artifacts.
- Overall we are extremely pleased as we feel like we got great resolution and ease of use for the money.
- This projector has the resolution and brightness I needed and is now a permanent fixture in the tv room.
- Works perfect. It's a great fit for our room and is plenty bright enough.
- The only thing I don't like is it takes a couple seconds to adjust the resolution or find the signal when you switch inputs or formats.
- I have the projector at a distance of 15.5 feet and the picture is very crisp and event during the day you able to at least make out what you are seeing.
- The colors are stunning & the image is very sharp as well.
- It's projection is great quality. Crisp, colorful and bright images with fairly deep blacks. It also offers a range of customization settings.
- Image looks great even with all the lighting turned on in my living room. Its a bit washed out in direct daylight, but that is to be expected.
- This is an awesome projector. The color is great, the image is bright and sharp and setup was easy.
- Excellent picture and bright colors on this unit.
- Projector has a very detailed and clear image! Even with the lights on it is easily viewed. Perfect for games, movies whatever you want.
- Whole image is in focus, didn't have to adjust the colors, mounted in my garage, 100" screen, great football parties.
- The picture quality is great. Just remember you need to have enough distance between screen and projector because the zoom just slightly increases or decreases the projection size.
- Picture clarity, even when being projected onto a textured wall that isn't pure white, was amazing! The image really had a theater quality feel to it.
- Better than most less expensive projectors but not as bright in color depth and image was a lil blurry.
- 3D is great! Watched the go-to movies (Avatar 3D, Gravity, LEGO Batman, Cloudy with a chance of meatballs etc.) to test it out. PS3/PS4 gaming...excellent. (Played some Battlefield, Call of Duty) it was a nice experience!
- This projector replaced my older unit. I love the picture quality and especially 3d capability.
- Long bulb life in dynamic mode , doesn't compromise brightness.
- Speakers are decent.
- Two months and it's making a ticking noise very loud.
- I little harder to set up then my last but worked out well. Only wish the zoom out or in allows for more range.
- It has a higher lamp life than average.
- Built in speaker is decent. Has modes so you coule project from behind as well. So far so good.
- The noise level is low and it doesn't make as much heat as I would expect with a high lumen projector. Works great with our 120" screen for outdoor movie night.
- The projector is plenty bright and has auto on/off features so you don't need the remote all the time.
- The built in speaker is a plus, but I highly recommend external sound a small speaker in mono spoils the large screen experience.
- Easy to set up and has a good picture, but after a few uses the fan makes a "clicking noise" for a few minutes until it warms up.
- IPtv via Android box, Firetv, Chromecast etc (HDMI)...depending on your stream it's just like watching direct from cable/satellite.
- USB port is a plus.
- MHl and HDMI input, powered USB out helps to power roku or other streaming device.
- USB slot purpose??? I tried plugging in a simple laptop cooler to keep temps down & no power from the USB. Not a dealbreaker, but what's going on there? I solved this by plugging the cooler into my modem for continuous power. It definitely helped.
- The main thing I dislike is that: I have my projector hooked up to a PC, but when I turn the projector off, it still sends a signal to the PC - making the PC think it is still active.
- HDMI ports, lightweight, decent speak that you can add surround sound as well.
- It lacks the inputs of other projectors at only 2 HDMI inputs, but again not a problem, I didn't want a bunch of wiring. I use one HDMI cable to my receiver and add all other devices there.
- It has a USB port to power up firestick.
- Another nice feature of this projector is the 12v trigger port. It allows you to automate your electric screen. By wiring the 12v trigger to the control box of my screen, I now have my screen automatically lowered when I turn on the projector.
- Easy to take with you or mount for permanent viewing.
- I don't like the location for the screws to mount on the ceiling just cause it makes it difficult to keep level since mount is not centered. Don't know if that is a fault of the projector or with the mount itself.
