- Very bright, resolution is great, 3d is much better than on my lg tv and fan is very quiet.
- The Benq HT2050 by contrast had wonderful color, great interface, wonderful resolution and is two steps up and quieter than the old w1070 which I really did like. This one seems to be better and brighter for 3d as well.
- Love this thing, great resolution, not noisy, great picture. Love it
- Easy to install and get up and running, with great 1080P picture quality. I'm sticking to 1080P for gaming to prioritize IQ and framerate over resolution, so this was a perfect unit.
- It is amazing 2 styles of 3d 1080p quality.
- I bought this BenQ HT3050 projector almost a month ago, and I am still amazed at the picture quality.
- This works great for gaming and movies. When gaming there is no delay and it's awesome to have a big picture this clear. Movies are great as well.
- This projector uses DLP link 3D glasses and I purchased the EStar America ESG601 and they work wonderful with this projector.
- I'm blown away by the picture quality.
- Only drawback is if ... you will need a dark room.
- Image: The colors are striking on here. I've only owned this projector so I cannot compare it with non DLP models but I actually prefer watching sports/movies through the projector now versus on a flat screen TV. I find it easier on the eyes and an overall warmer image
- Incredible cinema quality image. No other projector can match (Epson, Infocus, Optoma)
- Sharp image (120" diagonal with a throw of 11') even on a brown/textured wall.
- There is some light coming out of the fan vents to the sides.
- Viewing against my wall provides a nice picture but viewing on an Elite 125" motorized screen significantly ups the video experience.
- I use this projector in a theater room and love it the color and clarity are awesome even on a wall that isn’t white.
- This is an amazing projector. I just used our wall as the screen and the image/picture is really great.
- Extremely good projector. Nice vivid colors and crisp clarity.
- Buying this BenQ projector was my third attempt at finding a projector to fit my medium sized living room and it turned out that the third time was the charm.
- Multiple modes with different color schemes for different lighting: I own blackout blinds in my apartment but I rarely need them. I use this on Vivid mode during the daylight and on Game mode during the nighttime. Both come pre-set.
- Really impressive and loud speaker: The built in sound system is amazing. I keep it on the lowest level before mute and it still echoes throughout my living room.
- This projector features an ECO Blank Mode (there's a button on the projector and a button on the remote for ECO Blank) to make the picture dim down to a pure black signal letting you step away from the projector while its on to save lamp power.
- Built in speaker is pretty decent for those that are using this as a portable projector.
- No sleep timer. Would be great if I could find a way to sleep this on its own.
- Some of the plastic pieces have light bleed where the seems are.
- The fan noise is very low and the speakers are quite loud but lack bass. I have the audio sound level set to one but occasionally up it to two.
- It runs pretty quiet. It's definitely quieter than our last Epson. Watching Finding Dory in 3D was awesome.
- Add a nice sound bar and you are all set for your movie viewing experience. I think the 3D looks the same or better than at the theatre.
- The sound level of the projector fan is low....most specially if you have your receiver running. Overall, I am very satisfied with this projector.
- This projector comes with it's own internal speakers but these were disconnected by the Geek Squad since I already had installed surround speakers. Haven't tried the 3D yet. Very satisfied with this purchase.
- I have it hooked up to a fire stick which is powered from a USB port in the projector itself - so everything is running from just a single power outlet.
- It has inputs for VGA, HDMIx2, Component, and RCA, as well as a USB port. Very, very nice.
- It has plenty of ports to connect stcik or reciever.
- This projector works very well and set up was easy. The only thing I'd like to see added is AirPlay to make a wireless connection.
- I tried connecting it to my computer via HDMI and it was having trouble keeping the signal but that may be due to my particular set up. did not try VGA yet.
- Setup was easy and I mounted it to my ceiling using the BenQ ceiling mount.
- Absolutely fantastic picture and 4K material is a joy to watch via my connected pc (HDMI).
- HDMI 2/MHL to allow you to connect to your smart phone or tablet for example.
- I used one of the HDMI inputs to directly connect my Amazon Fire Stick and then use the USB port to provide the power to the Stick. It works great and the image quality is phenomenal.
- The BenQ system is incredibly easy to set up. It has ports for DVI, HDMI, computers and more. You can hook up a DVD player or computer with wires, or you can wireless load videos and presentations from iPads and computers to use.
