- Small and compact, easy to use.
- This is a great little underwater camera. I used it snorkeling and cave tubing on a recent vacation and it takes quite good pictures.
- The weight is great and the pictures were super.
- It’s compact size and light weight allow for easy storage and transportation as well.
- The underwater photos were great and the size of the camera allowed for it to be taken everywhere.

- This is a great little underwater camera. I used it snorkeling and cave tubing on a recent vacation and it takes quite good pictures. I ended up carrying it around more than my regular camera because it's a small size and easy to throw in a purse.

- I'm stilling learning how to use it but love it so far. I like the size and love the bright blue color.

- Pictures were sharp and clear and the optical zoom make close ups of skittish fish a lot easier!
- Happy with the quality of photos, love the special effects you can add to the photos.
- Took very good quality photos underwater during snorkel trips this year.
- As for changing zoom setting while filming underwater, don't even think of it, since this only makes the problem worse.
- The time in between pictures is relatively slow-especially when using the flash, burst, or a movie.
- With considerable high-ISO image noise in low-light conditions.

- The zoom buttons are in a strange place. (again due to the waterproofing) If you want a camera anyone can pick up and use... this is your camera.

- On-screen menu is kid-friendly and easy to use.
- Nice size screen.
- It does not have a standard view finder, just an LCD screen for seeing the images.
- When taking pictures outside it is often too bright to see what is on the lcd viewing screen.
- It is difficult to see the screen in bright conditions.
- Excellent quality in this small and compact camera with superb colors and great resolution.
- Fantastic resolution and small and easy to handle.
- We followed all of the directions and recommendations, but after only a couple of times in the pool we noticed water forming on the inside of the camera display.
- A week into my vacation it stopped taking picture or displaying anything in the viewport.
- I do have to say I was a little disappointed while taking the pictures, as the display just doesn't do the pictures justice. The pictures just didn't look great on the display while I was taking them.
- Virtually indestructible (we used it in the pool, it's been dropped onto concrete, used in a snow storm, etc...)
- It is also drop resistant to about 5 feet.
- Used in both salt and river water and it was fine.
- Most of the shots were blurry and the shutter speed was very, very slow.
- Actually a great little camera except for the whole battery/charging/proprietary cable issue. Without the cable or a separate battery charger, you can't just USB charge this thing like many others.
- It is also drop resistant to about 5 feet.
- Used in both salt and river water and it was fine.
- There are multiple shooting modes (called scene modes) , ability to take soft pictures, create diorama effect, shoot close ups, photograph food, firework mode, and of course underwater mode.
- Have fun with the weird shooting modes.
- Nikon could have improved with a water-resistant coating or something. That is the only thing keeping it from a 5-star.
- Curves always are missing the bottom towards black - seems to have white/black balance problems. (fixable in computer)
- Most of the shots were blurry and the shutter speed was very, very slow.
- All you need is a USB connection (which, by the way, comes with the product) in order to retrieve all of the files you would like to cherish.
- It uses a standard micro-usb port for transferring pictures from the camera to the computer (not proprietary Nikon connector).
- Easily expandable memory with standard memory cards (not special, but noteworthy).
- Thankfully the S32 switches to Micro-B USB instead of Mini-B, which makes it compatible with the millions of other cords I have!
