What customers say about "Key Specs"
Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Streaming Media Player
- I love the fact this is in 4k, videos and apps will start sometimes start in lower resolution but quickly turn to 4k, within a second or two.
- Of course the 4k streaming makes for a better picture with UHD being 4 times the resolution than 1080p.
- I discovered the great little 4K fireTV streaming stick works wonderful at 1080P resolution and includes the ability to automatically control my TV and soundbar volume using it's slim remote!
- I'm extremely happy with the speed and resolution of the device running at regular HD setting.
- While the resolution is pretty darned great, the colors are VERY washed out. Reds not vivid at all and seems to have some sort of "fog".

What customers say about "Hardware"
Amazon Fire TV with 4K Ultra HD
- Glad to have a way to access tons of content via my TV and not a computer. 2 GBs of RAM makes it very snappy.
- Simply the best. All great content, with Ethernet and USB port, micro SD card slot and 2GB of RAM.
- Extra ports usb, micro sd, ethernet
- Love it. I wish it had 3G ram than 2 but it still works great
- The unit comes with 8GB standard, which isn't much
Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Streaming Media Player
- It is faster and has more memory than The older generations.
- New features such as faster processor, power, volume, and mute buttons for TV, and support for newer 4K media standards. It's make an excellent job.
- The processor has been upgraded from 1.5GHz to 1.7GHz quad-core processor. This is better than Fire TV cube's processor as well.
- This Fire Stick has a fast enough processor to run everything very quickly. Both apps load fast and the menus load almost instantly.
- There is very little RAM, and even less storage. And the stability comes into question once you start wandering even a little off the reservation.

What customers say about "Software"
Amazon Fire TV with 4K Ultra HD
- Alexa is a great addition. The ability to sideload Android apps like Kodi is the best. Even better if you are an Amazon Prime member. Enjoy
- The user interface and OS is simple, straight forward and easy to use.
- It works great with Hulu Plus, Amazon Instant Video, and Netflix.
- Lots of apps to watch including Netflix and Slingbox. I used this in Israel to watch my TV back home.
- The new OS of fire TV is MUCH slower than the original OS. This new edition comes with it and the first edition has now been upgraded to it as well. I'm constantly restarting due to lagging and freezing, which I never ever had to do with the original software.
Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Streaming Media Player
- Once that is done Fire TV installs and downloads the latest software. Software download did not take much time but the installation took 3 minutes.
- It did a software update quickly and I downloaded Playstation Vue, Tablo, Plex and Netflix.
- It flies through the Fire OS menu, and the addition of the TV controls make this a game-changing device.
- I really love my fire stick. It was very easy to set up and has an intuitive OS.
- The only problem I see is there is no resolution matching available but I think that is a software thing.

What customers say about "Features"
Amazon Fire TV with 4K Ultra HD
- When it comes play back from a local file (DLNA, USB), it has literally no competition. It supports a wide range of A/V codec and containers (MPEG2/4, MKV, H264, DivX, True HD, HDMA, etc.) No other device comes even close
- Another cool thing is that it can connect to bluetooth items.
- I'm very impressed with how good the WiFi reception and speed is.
- Simple remote (and a free app so you can turn your cell or tablet into a remote).
- The Fire TV does NOT support NTFS disk partitioning! Therefore, you have to reformat any external hard drive as FAT32. After formatting to FAT32, BIG SURPRISE - you can NOT write to the hard drive!
- The remotes seem overly delicate. My first remote unregistered itself and ceased to function within six hours of first use. My second remote (Amazon replaced for free) did the same thing, though I am fortunate in that it began working again.
Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Streaming Media Player
- I like all the video options on the Fire TV 4K. You can set the resolution, color bit depth (8/10/12 bit), and wether or not to force HDR.
- The new remote with IR support will control our fairly new 4K TV with ease. We like the power button and the volume and mute buttons. That remote almost makes the product worth it.
- The new version supports the latest video and audio formats but I didn't notice much of a difference.
- You can't rearrange the Apps on your App bar. This is just annoying because you can on their other TV products.
- The Firestick drops WiFi signal after about 10 minutes of play time. When I reboot it, it picks up WiFi again. Initially, the WiFi shows strong signal strength. The TV is about 15 from my router.
