- I only have an old hd tv in my bedroom and I have to attach my Ipad via adapter to my tv in order to watch Netflix and other video streaming apps.
- If you're prime member, you can watch prime vdo without any VPN service. Fire stick provides hd and clear audio.

- I love the fact this is in 4k, videos and apps will start sometimes start in lower resolution but quickly turn to 4k, within a second or two.
- Of course the 4k streaming makes for a better picture with UHD being 4 times the resolution than 1080p.
- I discovered the great little 4K fireTV streaming stick works wonderful at 1080P resolution and includes the ability to automatically control my TV and soundbar volume using it's slim remote!
- I'm extremely happy with the speed and resolution of the device running at regular HD setting.
- While the resolution is pretty darned great, the colors are VERY washed out. Reds not vivid at all and seems to have some sort of "fog".

- This Fire Stick has a fast enough processor to run everything very quickly. Both apps load fast and the menus load almost instantly.
- There is very little RAM, and even less storage. And the stability comes into question once you start wandering even a little off the reservation.

- The search function is helpful. You can type a name of a show for example, and the search will run across all apps and services at once.
- This product is very easy to install and the layout of the menus is quite simple and elegant.
- It has a lot of content, and you can download some of your favourite apps such as Netflix, HBO, YouTube, and Spotify, amongst others.
- The UI is responsive and quick. Also the companion apps for using your phone or tablet as a remote work mostly quite well - they even allow alexa voice commands.
- My only negative is some of the apps require a cable connection.

- Once that is done Fire TV installs and downloads the latest software. Software download did not take much time but the installation took 3 minutes.
- It did a software update quickly and I downloaded Playstation Vue, Tablo, Plex and Netflix.
- It flies through the Fire OS menu, and the addition of the TV controls make this a game-changing device.
- I really love my fire stick. It was very easy to set up and has an intuitive OS.
- The only problem I see is there is no resolution matching available but I think that is a software thing.

- Remote is bluetooth so is very responsive, and there's a decent amount of apps available for free, if you can find them.
- I take this when traveling for use in hotels and it's easy to get working with WiFi that requires an acceptance agreement.
- I was usrprised to find out that the fire stick responds to my Sony tv remote as well so now I have two remotes. I am so so happy I decided to buy this!
- Works well, one issue is the Bluetooth remote takes a while to pair with the stick when it's woken from low power mode.
- The only thing lacking is a mechanism to sleep/turn off the tv from the fire tv remote.

- I like all the video options on the Fire TV 4K. You can set the resolution, color bit depth (8/10/12 bit), and wether or not to force HDR.
- The new remote with IR support will control our fairly new 4K TV with ease. We like the power button and the volume and mute buttons. That remote almost makes the product worth it.
- The new version supports the latest video and audio formats but I didn't notice much of a difference.
- You can't rearrange the Apps on your App bar. This is just annoying because you can on their other TV products.
- The Firestick drops WiFi signal after about 10 minutes of play time. When I reboot it, it picks up WiFi again. Initially, the WiFi shows strong signal strength. The TV is about 15 from my router.
