What customers say about "Key Specs"
Yamaha DGX-650 Digital Piano
  • This is a great keyboard. I had it out of the box and up and running in about 30 minutes. The touch of the keys is exactly like a real piano. The voices, accompaniments and all the features are great.
  • Excellent piano, especially for someone like me who has dabbled over the years and wishes finally to learn how to play with both hands and not just the ears.
  • Feature wise it is well ahead of its rivals in this segment of the market, nothing really comparable. 128 notes polyphony is more than enough.
  • I am a semi-experienced pianist, but for me piano is just a hobby. I grew up with a VERY old upright piano, but I love the flexibility of keyboards to play different sounds and add rhythms.
  • If you got this it mean you wanted a piano arranger and with limited possibilities like making your personal styles, modifying a style, muting a part of a style, you will be stuck with few yamaha styles that are not bad (not great either) and soon you will be tired of it all.
Yamaha DGX-660 Digital Piano
  • This one has all of the original quality and many more features, including three Piano pedals and more recording capacity as well as USB transfer capabilities....You will not be disapointed!
  • Has a great sound. Make sure you buy the foot pedal bar with it. You can spend a lifetime learning all the features on this piano. Well worth the money.
  • The graded hammer keys still have the same great feeling, and Yamaha did add more styles & voices into it.
  • Pleasantly surprised great quality for the price highly recommended product great key action easy operation and a very nice looking instrument.
  • Beautiful Grand Piano sound, to start off with. Way better than just a keyboard. Full 88 keys, just like a real piano. Keys that feel like a my old grand piano I use to have as a child.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Yamaha DGX-650 Digital Piano
  • This portable grand is definitely one of the best you can find in the market today. I enjoyed playing it and my hands never get tired even after playing for more than 5 hours.
  • Portable from room to room even when mounted on the very sturdy stand. Easy to detach from stand and take to a gig or on a trip.
  • Husband loves it. He said the keys "feel" like a real full size piano. Since he is just learning, I lock him in basement.
  • I purchased my first one of the DGX-650 to be portable between my church and home.
  • But it isn't perfect. For one thing, it is too heavy to really be a "portable grand", the down-side of fully-weighted keys.
Yamaha DGX-660 Digital Piano
  • If you don’t want the size of an acoustic piano or to spend twice as much on a better digital, you’re in for the best you can buy. This is certainly not a grand piano, but it makes nice sounds and has a nice feel.
  • Donated my older Clavinova to my music educator children and needed something a bit more portable with all the features.
  • Weight is about 100 pounds. It takes two people to lift the box, to put it together and lift piano onto the stand.
  • It is not easy as it mention "portable" it's a heavy piano needs extra care while you move on, just can't be one that can handle much to pack and go.

What customers say about "Features"
Yamaha DGX-650 Digital Piano
  • The LP-7A works great but it does not have the assignable function like that of the Clavinovas. Nevertheless, I still bought it to maximize my piano experience.
  • The apps available for iOS devices looks great too. One thing I hate about these latest Yamaha apps is the fact that it doesn't have an Android counterpart. I just want Yamaha to know that not all of the pianists use iOS devices.
  • The fun arranger features definitely keep me playing
  • The addition of foldable travel bag which could double as a piano cover would be a nice bonus and one Yamaha might wish to add. As would a stand including pedals instead of adding an aftermarket unit on the floor.
  • My last complaint is that it is too difficult to navigate through all of the Category menus to make the settings I want, the downside of a clean-looking, clutter-free keyboard.
Yamaha DGX-660 Digital Piano
  • I'm more into learning songs from listening to them, so the feature to play music from my phone using 3.5mm cable is a must have for me. I can listen to both of the music and me playing from either the piano's speakers or my headphones.
  • Many great additional features that I will need to learn (such as easy cords), but the MIDI function is great and lets me move performances from one place to another
  • You can use it as a midi controller through your computer. You can play it by itself with its nice builtin speakers. Everything i was looking for
  • The piano sounds are VERY realistic and if you record them, it is hard (or maybe impossible) to tell the difference between it and a real piano.
  • The one thing I look forward to is when my daughter comes to visit, I can have her play and save a recording to keep and listen to. I also work with the tempo to make me count more.
