What customers say about "Key Specs"
Roland FP-90 Digital Piano
  • Very good key action, rich and warm piano sound.
  • The hybrid key (wooden surface) feels substantial. The key action response / weight can be adjusted to make it feel heavier or lighter, so it can be made to match the weight of grand piano action.
  • One of the best key actions of any digital piano. Feels very close to a real acoustic grand piano (and I play a Steinway grand piano during my piano lessons).
  • The overall sound is pretty good, in line with Roland's latest high-end keyboards.
  • Еhe sound is a little synthetic, but I haven't found a digital piano yet that sounds exactly like an acoustic piano.
  • The background noise in the speakers is a rather unacceptable fault for a keyboard of this range and price.
Roland RD-2000 Stage Piano
  • The action is superb. Roland is putting the new PHA-50 action on all of their keyboards, and not limiting it to just their highest end products. This is a great step.
  • I also value having great EP sounds, like a Rhodes, Wurli, Clav, and others. Roland has developed some great emulators here, and I don't feel limited at all.
  • For a digital keyboard Roland has done a good job the hammer action with escapement.
  • Loads of built in sounds with the ability to modify anyone of them. The XLR outs are perfect for going into a mixer. Very happy with this purchase.
  • Bought this to be my stand-alone, do-all keyboard, and the sounds are well up to the task but the way the controllers work let me down.

  • It/s not heavy and easy ta assemvled.
  • Piano easy to use, it's very durable and and not too heavy.
  • We love it! It feels like a real full size piano.
Roland RD-2000 Stage Piano
  • It is built like a tank so while heavy I don't have to worry about the constant travel from home.
  • Yes. It is heavy. Not as bad as the Kurzweil PC 88 that I sold when I bought the Arturia Keylab 88, but it"s not for weaklings.
  • Its heavy but its very durable and strong.
  • The piano feel is a little bit heavy.

What customers say about "Features"
Roland FP-90 Digital Piano
  • -To start the action of the keys is very good and with a fairly wide dynamic range. The mechanism is of great quality.
  • Integrated speakers sound great, very good quality but have an audible background noise if you get too close to the speakers.
  • A piano with many possibilities such as Homekeyboard, piano accompaniment or ambient (with integrated speakers) and as piano scene (possibility to connect to PA System or Active Speakers).
  • With the configuration that comes by default, for my taste, you have to modify the intensity of the media a bit. The piano designer app helps a lot to configure the sounds, offering many possibilities.
  • I miss a little more variety on acoustic, electric and organ pianos. Still the sounds in general are pretty good.
Roland RD-2000 Stage Piano
  • If you prefer sampled pianos, the RD-2000 has a plethora of options, from the SuperNatural Concert Grand, to a nice Upright Piano, and lots more. In short, this stage piano has everything you could want in the piano department.
  • The addition of the V-Piano engine is a huge step forward for piano sounds. Roland spent over 10 years developing a fully modeled piano, and having it all in a standalone instrument is great.
  • Coupled with a volume pedal and some switch pedals for controlling the Leslie effect, you can finally get one board that gives you many great ways to control your sound.
  • I like how easy it is to save "Programs" (formerly "Live Sets") so I can easily recall setups for different live situations.
  • The one thing that is annoying here is that if you enable the percussion sound, you aren't able to use the upper drawbar. I'm assuming that there is some technical limitation there, but I'm really wondering why that couldn't have been overcome.
  • Beautiful instrument - returned due poor implementation of pedal controllers for live performance. Pedal functionality is somewhat lacking, as well.
