What customers say about "Key Specs"
Stansport 212 Outfitter Series Burner Propane Stove
- TWO 25K BTU burners that can boil 2 quarts of water in only a few minutes.
- The width of the stove can fit 10" & 14" pots or pans side by side. In a pinch, you can even flip down the side wings to accommodate large pots.
- Cranks out plenty of heat and cooks very fast.
- It's powerful and boils water fast, and is overall good for the range of different stove uses from making toast to eggs to pasta etc.
- The burners are about 4.5" in diameter. As such, my 3.5" diameter backpacking cup did not boil since the flame is larger than the cup. Be sure to use a pot/pan with a larger size bottom to take advantage of the large burners.
Camp Chef Everest 2 Burner Stove
- Wide burner distributes heat for less hot spots
- The burners look big and well designed.
- This stove is way more powerful and will boil water much faster. If using a smallish pan you really need to turn the burner down super low to effectively not over-heat the surface (or the pan handle). This stove is a beast.
- Tons of cooking power. Also, no problems with a low simmer. Wide range of flame intensity.
- Extra width provides adequate space for two full size pots/pans used simultaneously
- Right burner had a fuel leak which caused frequent blowouts.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Camp Chef Everest 2 Burner Stove
- This is twice that of the competitors in the same compact size. There are now two plastic latches (see pictures) and they seem sturdy.
- Knocking just one star because besides all that, works great, seems decently built enough while still maintaining a lighter weight.
- Overall the unit is lightly constructed which keeps weight down, but I wonder how long it will stand up to camping.
- The lid is light weight sheet metal, will get dinged up plenty with use but the trade off for light weight is a little flimsiness.
- Best stove in this category and it punches say above its weight and price.

What customers say about "Features"
Stansport 212 Outfitter Series Burner Propane Stove
- 1 click piezo ignitor that works every time. It was a little hard to twist but it lit everytime!
- Great flame control for simmering. I used low heat and the flame never died down.
- Stainless steel drip pan - easy to clean and shouldn't rust.
- Top of the case is made with very thin metal. It easily flexes and one side is slightly higher than the other.
- Gas knobs have no click off - they just tighten. How tight is tight enough?
Camp Chef Everest 2 Burner Stove
- Buttery silk smooth flame adjustment down to the perfect simmer or up to "is this going to melt my stove in half hot" we plan on deep frying a turkey this thanksgiving on ONE of the burners.
- There are flexible hose adapters that are a nice upgrade that replace the standard camp stove regulator
- I am a fan of self ignition, and the igniter button has always fired on the first strike.
- It handles low setting great, the ignition has never misfired and it gets HOT.
- Carrying handle/groove had sharp edges.
