- Lights easily as stays lit in high winds. However it's HOT. Food cooks fast and burns quickly.
- When the reviewers say that it gets hot in a hurry, wow, they're right!
- As others have stated, it will not simmer. But it lights easily and boils fast. Good efficiency. It's easy to clean.
- Perfect fire , wonderful for 2 large pots! Love it!
- This one does not fit my cooking style. I've tried to cook bacon, eggs, pancakes, grilled cheese, hamburgers, soup, spaghetti and sauce, roast vegetables, and other things.
- Nice large burners spaced widely apart. It is difficult to get the flame to a very low level; therefore it cooks many things too quickly, causing burning.
- Love it.....It's beastly while being efficient.
- You definetly CAN, grill on this stove! You just have to turn it down to its lowest setting and FLIP your burgers.
- Great cooker for heating up a crab pot. However after using the left burner the right one would not start using the Piezo ignition.
- Works fantastic! I've owned it eight months ,looking forward to another 10 years!
- This is a fantastic stove. Yes it gets hot but you have to use cast iron on it.
- The left burner, however, never consistently lit without assistance (ie: hand lighter).
- The low setting is not low so it's super hard to adjust temp. We bought the grill plates as well.
- Works great! We are using it in the patio for outside cooking. This is one of the best we found .
- Great stove - has a bit of a loud whistle when you first start the burner but it goes away quickly.
- Loved it. Strong flame and very well designed
- The bottle protrudes from the side, and does not have an arm or other support mechanism. We use it on a collapsible frame, but we have to put it next to a table to support the bottle. Would be much more convenient if it could stand alone.
- As with all Coleman propane camping stoves, the valves come from the factory with gummed up valves.
- I used it last weekend to make philly cheese steaks and it performed well, the gas adjustment was fine and due to the high btu
- Okay okay. Everyone saying there is no temp control. That’s not true. It is less than an inch of adjustment on the knob.
- The left burner does not instantly start with the ignitor, its takes a few times, the right one works on the first try. Kinda defeats the "instastart" branding for the left burner anyway
- Plastic knobs a major flaw, they strip very easily.
