- This is great for canning. Keeps the heat outside and increased processing time due to quick to cool.
- It will fit 2 -- 9 quart canners on it side by side with out the wind break on the stove. But we have a 9 quart and 7 quart canners and they fit fine together on this stove.
- We took our new stove on a one week camp trip to the WA State coast. The burners put out a nice even heat and can be modulated well from low to high.
- Great stove. It does not come with a ignition source or I would have given five stars
- The amount of heat generated by the burners is great and we love to use this with our cast iron pans.
- It worked great for canning and serves so many other purposes as well. This burner is brilliantly designed with the ability to add additional accessories.
- The Camp Chef Explorer EX-70LW 2-burner provides enough power (2x30,000 BTU) to bring 1 liter of water from 70F to boiling (at 5500 feet) in just under 4 minutes.
- The burners are MASSIVE. There's a reason it's listed at 30k BTU, because this thing means business.
- The burners are working and there are no leaks in the propane system that i can tell.
- This stove is GREAT. The burners get REALLY hot, so your coffee/chili heats up FAST, and your salmon/steaks get a great sear on them.
- Very good product only problem was no ignitor switch.
- It breaks down and sets up incredibly easily and quickly and with the carrying case it is easily portable to any outdoor event.
- This stove and the cast iron griddle from Camp Chef is the "Wolf Stove " of camping! This thing ROCKS! Easy clean up, boils water in a jiffy, Can simmer perfectly. Great stove.
- The benefit of Camp Chef Pro is the front panel with the easy access knobs and the igniter switch. This make the unit a little more like our BBQ at our house and so it is more user friendly.
- The only complaint I have is the flame adjusters that are located behind the trim plate have very little effect on the flame.
- Relatively easy tear down & reassembly, I'd give this an 7.5/10 and I couldn't expect much better from a 14x32 duel burner.
- Nice and sturdy. The burners are great. The right size for canning. Flame control is straight forward like on a regular stove.
- I got this because I wanted something that would last and has enough room to use big pots and skillets(large family).
- Cleanliness - I wish they would have put some sort of catch for scraping the residue off. It's fine when camping but not really friendly on the back deck.
- Rubber Hose, unfortunately squirrels love to eat these.
