- I’ve been using it for under two weeks, and I’m down to one pill, I no longer wake up wheezing, the chronic scratchy throat that I developed over the last 4 months is gone, I can take a deep breath withought tightness, and I haven’t had to use my rescue inhaler at all.
- The air in my room feels much more fresh and any breathing problems I had have gotten better since setting up the Winix.
- Good air cleaner, works better on higher setting. I have birds and it is helping to clean their dander.
- I've been very pleased. We have 3 dogs, 2 cats, and 4 people; that's a lot of dust production. I've not been shocked by the amount of particles in the filter, just kind of worried we went so long without an air filter. Vast improvement.
- Unlike the previous version where each speed level was incrementally louder, this version is either silent or turbo--very little in between. Not good for using as white noise
- The first 3 fan settings are only subtly different. The 4th fan setting sounds like a jet taking off. A setting somewhere in the middle would be much preferred.
- My house is 1100 square feet and this purifier alone removes nasty odors like cat and rabbit waste products. It even lights up when someone passes gas. I would buy another one!
- It shoots its powerful jet of fresh HEPA air directly up, which turns the room into a sort of fresh convection loop. This thing quietly yanks out all sorts of dust, smoke, mold, hair, etc from the room minutes.
- This unit is best for smaller rooms as it does not appear to be as powerful as our other unit. It works well, it is easy to clean, and it is slightly more noisy than the green air purifier, but not enough to be annoying unless you have it on the highest speed.
- If you have allergies like me, smoke or just feel that your air quality is not at its best, I 100% recommend this product.
- Even on the highest fan setting there's almost no air intake (Despite a ton of air coming out the back). You can blow stuff into it and use some paper to test the suction, it's just not there.
- It was easy to carry around my house, it's light weight, and has a hand handle on the top.
- It is also relatively small and unobtrusive.
- Its lightweight and i can easy carry anywhere in me house.
- I'm very pleased with its size and leightweight.
- We were very pleased with its size and operation. It senses the air and turns on as needed. It actually turned on while my daughter was doing her nails - one of my least favorite smells.
- Right size for the room it's cleaning. Very quiet and adjust automatically.
- Unit is decently sized for the capacity it is rated for and has a nice dressed look about it.
- Very quite, light weight and portable. I don't know if i will use the remote but the small size is both easy to store and/ or loss. Its thin profile makes it easy to place out of the way. Very happy with the purchase
- Can't give something like this 5 stars because it's size and power are always limiting factors.
- High tech! It sense that my sister has sprayed peppermint in the room. I like the fact that i can set a timer or use the remote. Its very quiet too.
- First off I love the sleek design, and its functions are so simple, comes with extra filters that could last 2 years.
- This is a good product for th money. Easy to get going and program several fan settings. Filters are easy to access and clean or replace.
- It's also nice and quiet on the two lowest speed settings. And can be in a bedroom without the worry of preventing someone from getting to sleep.
- Unlike the earlier model, it has a pre-filter to catch the larger particles. And the pre-filter can easily be vacuumed or washed.
- It's covered with bright LED lights that can't be dimmed unless in silent mode. This may be fine for some people but I saw this model as a downgrade from the previous version.
- Every time you turn it on and off it plays an annoying loud tone that drives me crazy.
- For the price and the feature list, this just can't be beat. The cost is low, the replacement filters don't cost an arm and a leg, it covers a large area, and you get a lot of features.
- Now when you start comparing this unit to other brands, I don’t think that there are any contenders which match the quality and features at this price point.
- It also features a sensor to judge the current air quality and it works great. If the dog walks in front of it or if one of us farts, it changes color and increases the fan speed until it deems the air quality restored.
- There’s also an auto-off timer feature. This is definitely a MUST HAVE if you have kids, pets or just wants to breathe cleaner air! Amazing price too!! Only $140!!! It got great reviews on other websites online as well. I definitely did my research!
- The remote control is nifty, but a bit unreliable. I've found I have to hit buttons several times before it "wakes up" and starts controlling the unit.
