- It's best to run on turbo when you're not home and use 1-3 fan setting as maintance when home.
- Works great. Moves a lot of air and has many features/adjustments for your liking. Nice size to take up minimal space.
- Worth every penny! We have two cats and we're breathing much better. Our apartment is about 900 square feet and seems to clear the air pretty well!
- I am a cigar smoker and people that don't smoke absolutely hate the smell. It also gets into your clothes and makes the air quite stale so I purchased this to hopefully take care of it. It does the job really, really well in an area of about 600 square feet.
- "Plasmawave" is just a fancy word for ionization and electric air purifying. This means that despite Winix's claims, ozone is produced in small amounts. The quantity of ozone produced is low enough to pass most testing standards
- My house is 1100 square feet and this purifier alone removes nasty odors like cat and rabbit waste products. It even lights up when someone passes gas. I would buy another one!
- It shoots its powerful jet of fresh HEPA air directly up, which turns the room into a sort of fresh convection loop. This thing quietly yanks out all sorts of dust, smoke, mold, hair, etc from the room minutes.
- This unit is best for smaller rooms as it does not appear to be as powerful as our other unit. It works well, it is easy to clean, and it is slightly more noisy than the green air purifier, but not enough to be annoying unless you have it on the highest speed.
- If you have allergies like me, smoke or just feel that your air quality is not at its best, I 100% recommend this product.
- Even on the highest fan setting there's almost no air intake (Despite a ton of air coming out the back). You can blow stuff into it and use some paper to test the suction, it's just not there.
- It doesn't take much floor space, it's pretty quiet unless the fan is at it's highest setting.
- It's light weight so easy to move to other rooms and it covers about 400 sq ft.
- Light-weight but solid build construction. It has a top handle that makes it easy to pick up. I really like the design.
- Its thin profile and light weight make it easy to move to different areas of our home as needed.
- It was easy to carry around, light weight, and has a hand handle on the top.
- We were very pleased with its size and operation. It senses the air and turns on as needed. It actually turned on while my daughter was doing her nails - one of my least favorite smells.
- Right size for the room it's cleaning. Very quiet and adjust automatically.
- Unit is decently sized for the capacity it is rated for and has a nice dressed look about it.
- Very quite, light weight and portable. I don't know if i will use the remote but the small size is both easy to store and/ or loss. Its thin profile makes it easy to place out of the way. Very happy with the purchase
- Can't give something like this 5 stars because it's size and power are always limiting factors.
- Very quite. Turns itself to night mode in the evening. Easy to maintain.Good mechanical filtration.
- Free carbon filters included (plus the one you place in the air purifier).
- Fan settings 1-3 are quiet enough to have in the bedroom at night.
- I use this thing everyday. I like that it can detect the air quality. The plasmawave is a bonus addition to its features.
- I love the programmable feature as well as the automatic light sensor that turns the unit off and on according to how light or dark the room. Easy clean, long lasting filters.
- Bad chemical filtration. Very thin layer of carbon filter media. Started to smell after a few days and filter changes would only help for short period of time.
- For the price and the feature list, this just can't be beat. The cost is low, the replacement filters don't cost an arm and a leg, it covers a large area, and you get a lot of features.
- Now when you start comparing this unit to other brands, I don’t think that there are any contenders which match the quality and features at this price point.
- It also features a sensor to judge the current air quality and it works great. If the dog walks in front of it or if one of us farts, it changes color and increases the fan speed until it deems the air quality restored.
- There’s also an auto-off timer feature. This is definitely a MUST HAVE if you have kids, pets or just wants to breathe cleaner air! Amazing price too!! Only $140!!! It got great reviews on other websites online as well. I definitely did my research!
- The remote control is nifty, but a bit unreliable. I've found I have to hit buttons several times before it "wakes up" and starts controlling the unit.
