- These are the speakers that can and will define you as a professional mixing engineer.
- Stereo imaging, the detail when eqing, compression etc. So detailed. Just an honest blown away owner of focal twins.
- The Focal Twin6be monitors are the best near field speakers I have ever encountered.
- Totally accurate speakers. Not too much bass, not too much treble or mids. Very accurate in all ranges.
- They are bright and clear, but I do not find them to be accurate. My assumption is related to the crossover frequency to the tweeter.
- The new PSU design has been optimised specifically to maintain the bass transient response and maximise headroom margins, that's cool!
- Frequency response limits are given as 34Hz and 21kHz, and the overall response is very well controlled.
- That really is quite a lot when 3dB represents a doubling of acoustic power!
- These babies go low and the bass is tight and controlled. the mids and high are balanced just right.
- Very bad stereo image and not full range sound.
- If you have a really small space, maybe consider getting the Focal Twin6 Be.
- Make sure you have the space for these speakers and that you aren't purchasing speakers that are too big, twin6 be too small, i recommend.
- The Focal Twin's are great monitors. Small size. Many people love these speakers.
- The cons to these speakers are: very large size for my studio, the length of the "burn in" time you must do yourself and that's problem sometimes.
- However, they are a bit oversized for the room, and I started thinking about nesrfields as a second set.
- The new KH 310 is, similarly, a redesign of the previous O300 model, sharing the same size, aesthetics.
- My room can be tough so I was really surprised at how easy these were to get right, especially given their size.
- When mounted in free space, well away from walls, the KH 310 tonality is absolutely spot-on, and good size for my studio.
- No big size, no good sound, no surprised, this monitor not for me.
- Well it was time to look for new and bigger monitors. This speaker was small for my goals.
- It sounded amazing! I"m incredibly pleased with these monitors.
- However, all mix and mastering will now be done via the Focals. Worth every last cent.
- What a GREAT sounding Monitor!!! Focal are my favorites at our studio here in California!!!
- They maintain a coherent soundstage at all mixing levels, including very quiet listening.
- I agree that they sound good, but there is a lot of odd stuff happening in the lower mid-range.
- High frequency driver is detailed without being hyped. Overall a very flat but musical sounding monitor.
- After over 20 years of using various studio monitors I have found a pair that sound like a record, here we go.
- With some reverb and delay effects it sound like a surround system. I hear sounds coming from behind!
- Everything just sounds real and correct whether tracking, mixing or mastering.
- Listening to good recordings freezes me to the seat.
- I am incredibly happy to have this monitors with this nice material and color!!!!
- After adding a sub to the Twins has made all the difference in the world to best way
- The Focal Twin 6s actually work really well, presenting plenty of detail, with excellent vocal reproduction and a believable tonal balance across.
- These speakers are suitable for both nearfield and midfield applications, in both project and professional studios. So that's my choice.
- They are great nearfield monitors that need a little help. Great hi's great mids a little heavy in the lower mids.
- I'v read several other reviews of the KH 310 as being effortless. That's my impression aswell.
- Somehow it seems like I'm seeing (hearing) into the speakers the depth is amazing.
- A friend of mine spent about 2 hours listen to music in my studio. Control bass, mid, treble, it's amazing!
- Myself I can't put into words what these monitors have done for my mixes. Their just unbelievable!!!!
- You can control bass, that's good, yeah, but bass sounds bad.
