- I bought both monitors and they sound amazing. Very clear, wide stereo image and enough bass to feel it.

- In compare with oldest Adam model A8X looks Big & ugly, don't know why, probably the tweeter-woofer size ratio.

- The ports are front facing so you have a true fullness to the bass resonance.

- When you mix-down a song your high frequencies will not sound the same on other sources (other monitors, radios, iPods etc.).
- With the monitor plugged in on a stand away from any source the noise/distortion still existed.
- They are very smooth especially from 1-6kHz. I can't hear much above that. And I am satisfied with this speakers.
