- The tone and vibrate function are excellent for training a young dog especially when distractions interrupt the exercise
- The stimulus features are well calibrated to address each dog's temperment.
- This is a highly versatile tool with all of the key features needed to hold your dog's attention during training sessions.
- She responds very well to the beep and we never have to give her any type of shock. This product has great range and is very dependable.
- Range of reciever and different tone and vibrate settings are good; however, I recomend one that uses standard batteries.
- It has many different ways to use it as a training tool.
- Good consistent communication to the dog, easy to use buttons, fair correction, and love how you can adjust the intensity levels on the sides at any time.
- I really like this collar. It is small, has good range and great battery life.
- The tone and vibration modes have worked great for us. Using the tone or, if necessary, vibrate coupled with a "no" or "leave it" command followed by "come" gets him away from whatever behavior we want to stop. Love this collar.
- Very frustrating when it says the collar has a .5 mile range, but in reality it only has about 100 yards.
- Not very happy with this product. On first use, one of the prongs fell off. I am unable to find where to buy a replacement. Tried contacting the Garmin website and speak with a representative, but was unable to do so. Not very happy customer!
- Build quality of the unit is great; it is submersion-proof; and, charges very quickly.
- It's compact and very easy to use, reasonable and very effective it takes very little for my dog to respond I'm really glad I purchased it.
- Nice compact size and easy to learn how to use. Included DVD helped to get started quickly. Like rechargeable feature over having to mess with all the batteries.
- Has good range and the battery life exceeded my expectations.
- Very durable and made well. Small, lightweight, and charges quickly.
- I love the vibrating feature and this was very easy to sync and set up.
- The build quality is outstanding and the device has plenty of features and modes. I use it for all of our training sessions (5-10mins 3-4 times a day) and saw results from the first day of training.
- Super low stimulation levels make it safe and effective. Long range, water proof. Very happy.
- Cons are that it is hard to charge, the company is horrible about responding to questions and concerns about their product, the remote has a nice long charge (5-7 days) but the collar receiver has maybe 2 days of moderate use on a full charge.
- The hand held remote will not hold a charge for more then 18 hrs at a time. Whether in use or not. Very unhappy with this product.
