- The Sizzix Fabi is a MUST for quilting and sewing enthusiasts. The time you will save cutting alone is totally worth the price!
- It will certainly do different types of fabrics along with paper as well. It was well worth the money! Great item if you are into crafting.
- Love this little machine ... I am using it for the first time ... making a pillow with applique
- Bought this for my spouse. She likes quilting (the sewing part not so much the cutting part) so this works great for her.
- This paricular model does NOTcome with a platform, so if you want it for papercrafting and do not already have a platform you must purchase one separately.
- Mechanical. The hand crank isn't going to wear out, and I don't worry about jams, a concern I read about on the Vagabond.
- Versatile. It really has worked with every accessory I've tried so far.
- Love everything about the new big shot plus. It doesn't weigh anymore than the regular big shot and you don't have to hold it down while cutting. It has a smooth feed and I can use all of my previous dies, folders, and thinlets. Great investment.
- This is the top of the line for ease of use, durability, and construction. It will cut any and all dies on the market plus any embossing folders.
- The cutting plates. Why package standard size plates with the extended size platform? It's a minor concern as I can see these plates will need replacing frequently.
- I absolutely loved this machine, it cuts so nicely. However, today it stopped working. It makes a loud noise and will not cut any longer. Shouldn't something this expensive last longer than 20 months? I use this every day but still I thought it would last longer. Very disappointed.
- This machine is heavy enough to prevent most slipping around.
- Was easy to assemble handle, looks extremely easy to use
- I love that it cuts fabric, foamy, and felt! I enjoy the projects I am creating using the Sizzix ;)
- I love my Fabi! I can cut fabric or paper. I use it exactly the way I wanted to. It's also great because I can enter change the brand of dies I use. Sizzix thought of everything.
- This machine works really well, and as a crafter, I couldn't imagine not having one! I use mine mainly to cut fabric, and it hasn't disappointed me yet.
- The best feature is the ratio of turns of the handle: many less than another brand machine. Highly recommended.
- My favorite part is the easy loading, you can create your sandwhich on the platform and when it comes out on the other side it doesn't fall off like the other machine.
- So happy with it . Since its the plus starter kit, it came along with all the fun things to play with. It's really so huge that i can use my A4 card stock to cut and emboss Now.
- I am a quilter and I just finished a quilt using this machine and dies. It was so fast - the accuracy of the cuts with 6 to 8 layers of fabric and sewing the units with no dog ears was just so much more enjoyable.
- This product has multiple uses; it is able to cut thin substrates as well as thick. So far, all I have cut is fabric and it does a great job with that. I have cut about 6 layers thick of cotton fabric and get nice clean cut every time.
- I have had this machine for only a few months and rarely used it. When I did finally use it, the handle came apart from the base as I tried to cut paper. This is so frustrating!
- I love this machine , but it stopped working after the one year warranty and when I call customer service I was told their was nothing they could do and they would not even tell me where to go to get it repaired.
