- It does everything it is supposed to, and I want to cut up all the fabrics in my house, into pretty things! I design and make jewelry, clothing, hats and accessories, and this great machine also does beautiful paper cards and gift cards and tags.
- Great die cut machine. Works well with many different types of dies and embossing folders. Cuts through paper easily as well as card stock. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable die cutting machine.
- I love this machine. Cuts medium weight chipboard using Bigz dies with ease, which is the main reason I wanted it. I'm looking forward to getting the larger dies and embossing folders.
- Works well for my die cutting needs. I am currently using wafer thin dies with the extended platform to make hand crafted cards. The handle turns nicely with little effort.
- I love how it cuts, but the cutting plates warped after only a couple of uses. Is this normal?
- The cutting pressure does not seem to be strong enough. The plates or easily warped. And, I would like the extend platform to be all in one like the smaller Sizzix than separate.
- Mechanical. The hand crank isn't going to wear out, and I don't worry about jams, a concern I read about on the Vagabond.
- Versatile. It really has worked with every accessory I've tried so far.
- Love everything about the new big shot plus. It doesn't weigh anymore than the regular big shot and you don't have to hold it down while cutting. It has a smooth feed and I can use all of my previous dies, folders, and thinlets. Great investment.
- This is the top of the line for ease of use, durability, and construction. It will cut any and all dies on the market plus any embossing folders.
- The cutting plates. Why package standard size plates with the extended size platform? It's a minor concern as I can see these plates will need replacing frequently.
- I absolutely loved this machine, it cuts so nicely. However, today it stopped working. It makes a loud noise and will not cut any longer. Shouldn't something this expensive last longer than 20 months? I use this every day but still I thought it would last longer. Very disappointed.
- The machine works perfect and I LOVE the periwinkle color! I did purchase the magnetic board which is nice. But I love that they included the extended board with this item to the title dies.
- I love this! It’s really classed up my cards and making ability! I do like to hand letter some things still, but this kind of crisp and continuous similar products is what consumers expect and want and this makes that possible for me.
- Easy to crank the handle and love the addition of cut outs to cards...or just making a window in the center with a scene behind it. My most fun toy!
- I love the extended platform because it tells you what u need to do in order to cut with different dies and how to emboss. It is like a cheer sheet.
- This is a good product, I found a little confusing at first but now get it. Does a lot of things the cricket does, however less expensive originally and the die cuts are less expensive than cartridges.
- I was exactly following instruction for how to use my new embossing plates (after successfully using cutting dies) and the machine broke. The crank no longer works to push anything through the machine.
- The best feature is the ratio of turns of the handle: many less than another brand machine. Highly recommended.
- My favorite part is the easy loading, you can create your sandwhich on the platform and when it comes out on the other side it doesn't fall off like the other machine.
- So happy with it . Since its the plus starter kit, it came along with all the fun things to play with. It's really so huge that i can use my A4 card stock to cut and emboss Now.
- I am a quilter and I just finished a quilt using this machine and dies. It was so fast - the accuracy of the cuts with 6 to 8 layers of fabric and sewing the units with no dog ears was just so much more enjoyable.
- This product has multiple uses; it is able to cut thin substrates as well as thick. So far, all I have cut is fabric and it does a great job with that. I have cut about 6 layers thick of cotton fabric and get nice clean cut every time.
- I have had this machine for only a few months and rarely used it. When I did finally use it, the handle came apart from the base as I tried to cut paper. This is so frustrating!
- I love this machine , but it stopped working after the one year warranty and when I call customer service I was told their was nothing they could do and they would not even tell me where to go to get it repaired.
