- The small footprint of this rower was one of the main reasons I bought it.
- The action is very smooth and comfortable and you can adjust the resistance by adding more or less water to the drum between the clearing defined limits.
- The main things I like about this rowing machine are the fact it uses water so you get a natural resistance when rowing.
- I recommend this to just about anyone, as you create the resistance, so you only get out of it what you put in.
- The only other issue is that you can not adjust the level of resistance without adjusting the volume water in the tank.
- Variable resistance adjustment determined by rowing intensity.
- Unique Water Flywheel mechanism that allows for a more realistic rowing experience.
- Quiet and very smooth operation, but with the added benefit of a realistic wave-like rowing feel.
- The WaterRower Natural Rowing Machine is not an ideal machine for households with limited space.
- It is noisy and has a huge footprint and makes whatever room it's in into the "gym room".
- It is easy to store and looks more like a piece of furniture when not in use.
- Most models made in wood and would fit in quite unobtrusively in your living room.
- Filling/draining the water is slow having to use the supplied pump. At the full water level it's tricky to move the unit w/o spilling water.
- To store it upright you need to drain it. These a problem to me as it take a lot of time.
- Foot straps are of a moulded plastic that catch when trying to get your shoe in or out and the sharp edges make it impossible to row bare foot.
- Very comfortable seat - probably the best we've tried so far.
- Can be easily stored by positioning the machine vertically and keep it in a convenient space.
- Sturdy and durable construction made of premium quality hardwood and finished with top-of-the-line materials.
- The seat and cords work smooth, no need of grease or other lubricants. So no risk of getting dirty.
- The foot straps are crap! Within the first 1000m of moderate rowing they loosen to the point of being able to pull foot out on recovery of stroke.
- It squeeks: the machine makes a lot more noise than I expected, not because of the water moving, but because of the wheels on the seat.
- The built in computer is easy to use and gives me all the information I require.
- Very quiet. Pretty much the only noise is the sloshing of the water in the tank.
- Monitor can be programmed for different measurements and countdowns. It's simplifies workout.
- It's quiet enough to row and watch TV with, I have found it mentally refreshing to just focus on the rowing without background noise.
- The monitor has display which is hard to see in bright sunlight and impossible to see in dim lighting.
- Console can be plugged into your PC for additional features.
- Allows for racing against AI, against personal best, and against other online fitness buffs.
- The easy to read display keeps track of progress and at the same time motivates to increase progress.
- I was very upset that computer, does not track calories.
- The computer is a bit poor. The power button is so soft it frequently gets stuck down so if I want to pause it by pushing it, it gets stuck and resets!
