- I have no issues. It has its low maintenance with cleaning it up but apart from that, I cannot complain.
- Works well going across different surfaces (hard wood to rugs)
- The vacuum ran for about almost a hour and half before heading back to its charging station. After charging it automatically finished the rest of the house. It even went over several times, areas of the carpet that get heavy use.
- This vacuum is a dream, I run it every day, sometimes every other day. We named her Rosie (the robot maid from the Jetsons) and she is like having a live in maid.
- The vacuum picks up all animal hair and dirt. Would recommend this vacuum to everyone. Buy extra filters to be changed as needed.
- After some research we decided to try the D85. I was not disappointed. The little fellow could run and suck the floor for over 90 minutes when fully charged. The D85 comes with 2 extra filters, a spare rotating brush and a spare standard roller/brush.
- Love it...fantastic robot!! Does a wonderful job..amazing
- We love our neato! We have a Rhodesian Ridgeback and Lab mix who sheds like crazy even with daily grooming and frequent bathing, and the neato does well with daily use to control all the little fur bunnies that accumulate on our rugs and in our hallways.
- I've had my D85 since January 2016. It is absolutely the best appliance in my house! I have always been a sceptic, thinking what is the point, it takes 10 minutes to vacuum? But when my youngest was 6 weeks old and my husband left on a 2-week business trip, I fell in love.
- If it works, it is great. I bought it to help reduce my cat’s asthma attacks and to help me with my allergies. It worked very well during the first month. I have wooden floors so no any potential problem with carpets.
- Have had 6 months and now it says please clear my path and it's path is clear. Have sincere ad this complaint by many others.
- Functionally I think it compares to the current high-end Roomba with the exception that this model Neato is NOT wifi connected/ app controlled. All that said, we're happy with our purchase and having a slightly lighter workload!
- Very good vacuum and easy to move room to room, use and clean.
- The D shape makes it superior. Give it a good amount of room and make sure that you pick up curtains and wires. It is that good.
- I Love this robotic vacuum! It is fascinating to watch as it maps the room and then goes to work covering every inch! It picks up everything.
- It does a great job scanning the room and making sure all spots are hit.
- It navigates well, although I would recommend watching it run the first few times it goes to get a feel for what in your home might trip it up.
- This little guy doesn't miss a thing and it hits every spot. Love that it outlines each room (I have 5) cleans the whole thing then moves to the next room.
- It is fantastic! When it runs out of juice, it goes back to the charging unit, tops up, and then continues where it left off!
- It is methodical and it cleans the edges of the room first and then cleans the middle almost like mowing a yard. We named the bot Nigel he has helped our family a lot. I think everyone should have one.
- We have a new table now that it can navigate with no problem. I have two small machine-wash floppy thin rag-rugs that it gets confused by because they fold up when it tries to vacuum them, so I shake them and set them on a chair.
- Does a nice job finding its way around thanks to the laser mapping technology
- Is relatively quiet (everyone says the old Neato was very noisy but this is not at all bad although I am not sure I would run it in the middle of the night since it is, after all, a vacuum)
- Love the larger dust bin & it is much quieter than earlier models.
- Really like the new side brush. The bigger dirt bin and filter are also a welcomed addition to the product.
- The one major issue was the dust bin not "latching" after about 3 months. It became basically unusable.
- The dirt bin on the Neato is constructed much better than the Roomba. You have to give the filter a little pull to get it off, but no big deal.
- The Neato filter is much better than the Roomba so I feel better when I'm in the same room when it is vacuuming. The D85 is a great product. Neato customer service is also great.
- I've only had a few problems, the first beater brush failed (locked up) and customer service was great - 30 Minutes of troubleshooting then I had another brush in the mail 2 days later.
- The other issues all one from not cleaning the sensors. Be sure to clean the sensors regularly. I use compressed air for the top sensors and wipe the others.
- The Neato does require more brush cleaning and the filter is a little hard to remove so dust flies out when opening for cleaning.
