- Still having some issues where it doesn't quite cover the entire pool surface area and the wand is difficult to use, sort of like a Wii remote control.
- This unit vacuumed and cleaned walls and every surface on my pool very good, but no stairs or levels that are not 1 feet deep.
- Its expensive, but if you maintain your own pool I think its a must-have. Our pool has never been cleaner.
- My pool was a mess after the winter and cleaned with no problem, large leaves and twigs included. I recently used to remote to guide it a spot it missed and it was amazing
- I gave it two stars because of the extra features, but at the end of the day I expect a thousand dollar rooting pool cleaner to clean the pool.
- Pretty good unit. Does a job fairly well on my vinyl california pool.
- Works wonderfully! I had a salt water pool filled with pollen, and you could tell right away where the Dolphin Nautilus PLUS had been.
- The pool had been up and running less than a week when it became obvious I would have to have a pool cleaner, referred to from here on as a "sucky" (blame the name on my mother).
- It's a powerful scrubber cleaner that pretty much does what it's advertised to do. Using this robotic cleaner along with some algae and shock chemicals totally cleaned up the pool in 2 to 3 days.
- The pool cleaner does an awesome job when it is working. However, it has been in for repairs twice under warranty now and just died again.
- I suspect there are some consumables such as the brushes or wheels but so far I'm so happy with this robot.
- Polaris has a good reputation so I went for it. I wanted a pool vac that would also brush.
- Shock, a lot of it, 30lbs at three different times, and a little brushing from me and now my pool looks good.
- It truly does climb the walls of my gunite pool and cleans all the way to the water line. This significantly reduces the amount of time I spend brushing down the sides of the pool.
- Does not clean real well in corners and along edges, so if very dirty can brush out from those before starting.
- Able to clean safety ledge, steps, walls, floor, no problem, 4WD. Came assembled, ready to use, with extra filters.
- The top loading filters are easy to remove and clean. They save your regular pool filters and skimmers from catching all the debris that would require backwashing.
- This thing climbs the walls and cleans my 15k gallon pool perfectly.
- The filters just pop in the top. there's 2 sets. A screen set that seems like it's for a pool opening with a lot of leaves.
- It climbs my walls easily, but it refuses to climb the stairs.
- The lift feature is the jam! Push a button, rotate towards you, and the handle appears at the surface for easy removal.
- Storing it on the caddy is another nice feature. Even after one cleaning I feel comfortable in walking away from this and returning later.
- The power lift system is a great feature. When you are done cleaning the pool, you push a button and the Polaris 9550 rises to the surface.
- Really like the auto up feature. Not as thorough as the Dolphin Premier.
- The remote needs a better signal, or some kind of improvements.
- It also comes with a set that seems to pick up finer stuff. It would be nice if the manual told you which was which.
- It's faster. I dropped it in and it zoomed off to the other end of the pool in about 30 seconds.
- Love the top access filters and the job it does. Has the ability to schedule cleaning. Have not used the feature yet but the cleaner works awesome!!
- The CleverClean feature seems to work, as patterning has improved noticeably over 7 days. The machine is climbing walls and steps.
- It has a nice repeat feature that allows you to set it to run once, daily, 3 days, 7 days, but that's pretty much useless if you have to clean the filters all the time.
