- He tried the sport mode and flew it at 62 MPH!!!!!!! by GPS. All of the features work so very well-object tracking, Terrain follow, return to home, object avoidance-EVERY feature works so very perfectly!
- The stability and safety offered by the combination of GPS and optical sensors is extremely impressive. Range is dumbfounding. 20+ minute flight time with a live high quality video feed to my docked cell phone is incredible.
- 27 min battery life is standard and decent. Always worth buying a backup so you can extend your flight times for more fun
- I also recommend the Fly More combo as battery life is 15-20 min of flight time. It just feels very short and spare batteries are very welcome. Spare rotors are also a welcome addition.
- This aircraft is well-made, but the software that controls it will let you down about 1 time in 7 flights, by my estimate.
- DJI Go App records video to your device that you can edit and share in app. Great stuff. User friendly. Intuitive
- For what it is worth, I have over 50 flights and 100 miles of flight time on my Phantom 4 now and I am still on the first set of props.
- Longer flight time: I now get about 20 minutes before I get a low battery warning (30%), as compared to about 14 minutes with the Phantom 3.
- The only thing I would of have like is for the batteries too last longer in terms of flying time.
- Battery life is advertised as 28 minutes, yet real world will get 22-23 minutes tops (with gps off etc) With everything else on like you would actually fly it, count on about 20 minutes of real flying before you should land.
- I love the size and portability but gave it a medium rating because I can not truly evaluate it.
- This pocket size wonder does everything the big drones do, but it also fits in a small shoebox.
- What are you waiting for? This is an awesome portable drone. Fit everything you need to fly in a bag the size of your lunch box!.
- The reason I purchased this was in the size and run times.
- It folds up to the size of a water bottle. You can put in your backpack and take it out at a moment notice without anyone spotting that you have a drone in the first place.
- Build quality is amazing. The weight is substantial, it is a solid machine.
- This is a great drone, but the new Mavic Pro does the same and it's a 1/4 of Phantom 4's size... So, although I enjoyed the P4, the Mavic Pro is just unbelievably capable.
- I'm not one to just make lists, good and bad, this device isn't easy to fly, it isn't simple to setup, it isn't small, or light weight.
- No description of size, manufacturer or anything supportive at all.
- Front-facing obstacle avoidance sensors, so it doesn't smash into something going forwards (it can going backwards).
- The flights were solid and the camera steady.
- The intelligent flight modes make it a breeze to fly even for the uncoordinated such as myself.
- The flight options are excellent, from the intelligent modes to the sport mode and even just the standard flight mode is a great tool for photographers and videographers.
- Awesome drone! It was loud and easy to fly. It did take a bit of learning to control the camera while flying though. I also wish that the shoulder bag didn’t feel like it was crushing the drone or about to break off the controller sticks.
- Easy to fly: the stabilization in P mode is amazing. The drone doesn't drift and has rock solid shots when hovering. A new pilot can easily pick it up and learn without the nuances and risk of a RC helicopter.
- Fun to fly in sport mode - it goes really fast! This is where you may actually crash it as you want to fly low and fast
- It has registered comming back home speeds up to 86 km / h. Nice camera and a very complete APP which is really easy to use.
- Intelligent flight modes -point of interest is great as you can control camera and distance while it orbits your shot. Way points are smooth so you can focus on getting the shot after setting your points rather than flying the craft. Active track and follow modes are in the bad section.
- I pushed the button to take off and it did, but instead of hovering as it should it immediately flew FULL SPEED to one side.
- Tracking feature is really cool. Previously had to purchase Litchi for this kind of thing, but it's all embedded into it now.
- Gimbal works great. You can also cheat and use it as a steadycam for normal ground / holding it shooting.
- This drone is NOT a toy. It is a very professional machine designed to offer even the new flyer HUGE and very usable features that are very easy to master.
- As mentioned there are exceptions and flying over water is one of them and should only be done with great care. Many of the safety features will not help, especially when launched above water.
- This is such a fun drone to fly around / record videos with but when I was testing out new features it crashed into a small sign and fell 10ft down.
- Smooth Cinematic Shots: I shoot in 1080P60FPS and get smooth shots not only high up, but close to the ground. You aren't limited to a camera slider, or crane, and have all the control in your hands to frame the perfect shot.
- It has so many smart features. There is a beginner mode that helped me learn very quickly. Highly recommend!
- This is a ideal drone for the novices or a seasoned drone pilot. so many great features with good DJI support.
- This drone is awesome and has so many amazing features. Follow me, circling, return to home and so much more. We've paired it with the new VR Racing Goggles and it's now my husbands favorite toy.
- The forward obstacle avoidance function and smart return to home are also great features.
