I am extremely happy with the results! The processor can support my 16GB of RAM.
Despite the fact that the processor has only L2 cache, this is more than enough for work.
So far this cpu has performed well for the budget gamer that I am.
I have a gtx660sc and 12 gigs of DDR3 and I am able to play BF3 at 45-60 FPS, never a slow down with my setup.
The downside to this cpu is the lack of an L3 cache which would make this about 20% than my other CPU.

AMD Phenom II X4 955 CPU Processor

The Phenom II has twice as much Level 1 and Level 2 cache as the Intel i7.
2MB L2 and 6 MB L3 cache are very good figures for modern processors.
Works great with lots of memory.
I have it running on an ASUS motherboard with DDR3 1600 memory. It has been rock solid.
There are no problems with compatibility and the amount of memory.
