- The nozzle can be set horizontal or vertical so you can choose to paint up and down or side to side whatever works best for the situation.
- The instructions say you need a smaller nozzle than the one included in the box for stain, but I used it anywhere and it works just fine.
- Changed to the 415 nozzle instead of the 515, using solid stain. Really like it, should have got one a long while ago.
- Freaking awesome unit! Reversible spray nozzle for cleaning plugs is genius works great.
- The only problem with that is the spray nozzle is kind of wide and I could not get the right size nozzle at my local big box store.
- Very nice paint sprayer, I just needs some practice. The spray nozzle that comes with it puts out a lot of paint, a little faster than I can manage, so think I am going to purchase a smaller nozzle.
- It was the perfect tool to spray stain. Had to purchase a nozzle for thinner stain but worked great.
- Best Sprayer I have ever used and the two way self cleaning nozzle is amazing
- Great sprayer love it but you need a smaller spray nozzel then the one that comes with it. The one I bought for stain is Graco 221413 is the nozzle I bought for stain and it worked great.
- Unfortunately I painted an entire rental house before realizing I had the amount of paint coming out of the nozzle set too high.
- Easy to use... awesome to clean. and it's light weight can be moved easy with one arm. It makes painting a breeze.
- Worth it's weight in gold made painting soffits go well & fast performs great.
- Correct size unit for the person who has limited need or experience
- Buy a small can first and make sure you can spray it. I had good luck using Kilz.2 latex primer. Paints weren't as big of an issue.
- Great paint sprayer for my small house. Primed the main interior walls and ceiling today. The machine worked flawlessly.
- The sprayer is very well made and durable despite its light weight. I imagine that a full cup sprayer probably would have weighed 5 or 6 pounds. The X5 spray gun probably weighs a half pound or less.
- Sturdy and durable with easy to understand features. Will withstand all respectful wear and tear.
- The GRACO unit is study but light-weight.
- It's very light weight very portable and easy to use and cleaning is a little messy but very easy.
- The sprayer is very well made and durable despite its light weight.
- Compare this with the power rollers which waste a lot of paint and take forever to clean the roller.
- I ran 7 gallons of latex primer through it with a power roller adapter to backprime some replacement siding. And I sprayed 22 gallons of Behr Premium Plus Ultra exterior flat latex, unthinned.
- Never having used a power sprayer before I found the instructions and machine ready to use and understand.
- One of THE best features is the nozzle barrel arrangement.
- It has a long delivery hose so you don't have to move the tool and paint container very often.
- I was very impressed with the self priming feature and most importantly the cleaning feature.
- Only had 1 jam the entire time and the reverse-a-clean feature allowed that to be cleared up quickly.
- Spray feature just to avoid over spray (or rather having to prep for it) and cannot say enough about how great an asset this was (Having an empty home versus a fully furnished one where you have to move items around came in handy as well!)
- If you really want to make the unit easier to use buy the swivel unit and place between hose and gun. It will eliminate the need to constantly "fight" the hose trying to control the gun
- Unclogging feature obviously does not work.
