- Very nice paint sprayer, I just needs some practice. The spray nozzle that comes with it puts out a lot of paint, a little faster than I can manage, so think I am going to purchase a smaller nozzle.
- It was the perfect tool to spray stain. Had to purchase a nozzle for thinner stain but worked great.
- Best Sprayer I have ever used and the two way self cleaning nozzle is amazing
- Great sprayer love it but you need a smaller spray nozzel then the one that comes with it. The one I bought for stain is Graco 221413 is the nozzle I bought for stain and it worked great.
- Unfortunately I painted an entire rental house before realizing I had the amount of paint coming out of the nozzle set too high.
- I loved the fact if you got a clog, it was easy to just turn the nozzle. I filtered my paint first, but still you get clogs.
- Easy clean up did good job in most cases you need an extension to the nozzle
- When spraying latex paint there is significant pressure (wind) that blows light drop cloths away from the area they are protecting. I found using the blue masking tape to fix edges prevented this from happening.
- On the plus side Graco CS sent out the missing nozzles without fuss (but took a week to get here), and I expect it will pay for itself when I come to paint exterior walls and fences, vs a contractors bill.
- Did not spray a nice pattern would not fan out nice tried 4 Different nozzle sizes still not a good pattern. Was using a premium epoxy paint.
- The sprayer is very well made and durable despite its light weight. I imagine that a full cup sprayer probably would have weighed 5 or 6 pounds. The X5 spray gun probably weighs a half pound or less.
- Sturdy and durable with easy to understand features. Will withstand all respectful wear and tear.
- The GRACO unit is study but light-weight.
- It's very light weight very portable and easy to use and cleaning is a little messy but very easy.
- The sprayer is very well made and durable despite its light weight.
- Easy to transport; one person can lift into back of pickup. I would say has easily paid for itself in saved labor.
- Because at some point no matter what you are spraying, the material will begin the dry and gum up the tip and you get clogs and sputters on your walls. By reversing the tip it purges the tip of gum ups.
- It's not made for that kind of volume, or that heavy of materials but it handled the work like a champ. Great for weekend projects or real small jobs.
- I can speak to durability. Have had this over a year now. Have used on interior of several houses prepared for renting and still works like a charm.
- I must say that this smaller, compact, light weight pump is by far superior to even the industrial pumps that were available several years ago.
- I was very impressed with the self priming feature and most importantly the cleaning feature.
- Only had 1 jam the entire time and the reverse-a-clean feature allowed that to be cleared up quickly.
- Spray feature just to avoid over spray (or rather having to prep for it) and cannot say enough about how great an asset this was (Having an empty home versus a fully furnished one where you have to move items around came in handy as well!)
- If you really want to make the unit easier to use buy the swivel unit and place between hose and gun. It will eliminate the need to constantly "fight" the hose trying to control the gun
- Unclogging feature obviously does not work.
- My only quibble is that the bucket carrier feature tilts the bucket as you are moving the sprayer so its really easy to spill if your bucket is more than 2/3 full.
- PERFECT for the home! I worked in the professional painting business for many years when I was younger and we used the industrial version of Graco airless pumps.
- This airless is good for painting a room. I tried to paint a 2200 sq ft home and the pump couldn't keep out.
- Outstanding airless sprayer. It met all of the advertised functions and exceeded my expectations!
- My only complaint is the spray pattern is too large. My old airless only sprayed about 6" wide pattern.
