Effortless Support
The AmazonBasics Single monitor arm can make your work on a computer more comfortable. In order to attach the mount to your desk, you can use either C-clamp for 0.4"-2.4" thick tables or a grommet with the maximum width of 2.25".
As for the monitor, the arm ends with an attachment for VESA plates and compatible with both 75x75mm and 100x100mm ones. The maximum screen size for a monitor to not touch the desk is up to 32". As for the monitor's weight, this mount can withstand up to 25 lbs load. The package includes the mount and other hardware, including the screws for the VESA plate. The only thing which isn't included but you will need is a simple screwdriver. It's also worth mentioning, that assembling it is a piece of cake as it comes pre-assembled and doesn't require applying a lot of torque to securely fix it in the required position.
To fold the arm closer to a wall when computer is not in use, you only need to press a lever on one of the poles; the clamp will release and reposition the arm. Easy as that. As for the wires, the cables are run through the sleeve into the bottom part of the arm. In the sleeve, there are small hooks for holding the wires down. Even if the PVC insulation is too stiff, you can use a couple of included straps to keep the wires in place.

Mount-It! MI-772
"With Open Arms and Open Heart"
The Mount-It! MI-773 mount is a desirable solution for having up to 3 monitors on a single arm at once. The arm is attached to the table with 2 small C-clamps. At first, we thought that it would make the pole less secure. Instead, it turned out, that 2 clamps make it more stable and seemingly less wavy from vibration. The horizontal arm is made of durable aluminum and is slightly curved towards a viewer for optimal screen view. One of the main criteria was to find out that the 3-monitor arm wouldn't not bend over under the weight of the screen. In this model, the horizontal arm is securely fixed to the pole with a couple of screws. On the downside, you will have to unscrew them both if you want to switch the arm position higher or lower. Still, you can freely move the side monitor brackets to the left and to the right. What's more, each monitor can be tilted at 15° up and down.
The maximum table thickness is up to 2.5", while the distance between the side monitors' brackets is 52.9". Additionally, you can easily slide each monitor from side to side, thanks to the small clamp. Finally, there are 4 hooks on the back side of the arm for the monitor wires.

VIVO STAND-V001B
Armed and Secured
This VIVO mount features an elegant design with a glossy bent black part visible from under the monitor. It comes with a grommet and a C-clamp for attaching it to the table with the maximum thickness of 3.25". We liked that the clamp has rubberized pads for leaving no scratches on a table. As for the cable management, the wires can be run through the holes with a couple of exit points.
The junctions design offers you maximum flexibility of screen adjustment. The center of the monitor can be raised from 3" to 16" from the table and swiveled all around the vertical pole axis. Also, it's possible to make the monitor face directly upwards or downwards at a 90° angular tilt. However, can't think of anyone actually needing more than 60° tilt. Anyway, the mount is compatible with 75x75 and 100x100 VESA plates and allows 360° monitor rotation for a quick portrait and a landscape orientation switch.
We can recommend this stylish VIVO single monitor desktop mount for the users, who need a mounting arm that is easy-to-assemble and can hold up to 27", 13.2 lbs monitor.

VIVO STAND-V002

VideoSecu ML12B
At Arm's Length
We're trying to cover all popular types of mounts and monitor arms. Thus, if you don't have enough space on your table or you want to set a huge monitor in your guestroom or in the office, this model may become the answer.
The VdeoSecu can hold a screen with the weight up to 44 lbs. The steel arm can freely swivel along the horizontal plane to the left or to the right, as long as the monitor's width permits. The total arm's length is 15", including the plate. Note, the arm can be pulled towards a viewer or folded back to a wall, but not up or down.
The included VESA plate is detachable, so you can attach the screen to it before mounting on the arm. Additionally, the plate can be rotated at 360°. Although the 5° tilt range here is not too big, it's still okay, considering the fact, that the mount is designed to hold really huge monitors.
The mount comes with the installation hardware, including the screws and a small wrench. However, you'll also need a drill to make holes in a wall and a screwdriver for attaching the VESA plate to the monitor. Remember, that a drywall won't support the weight of the mount together with the monitor. Therefore, we recommend using a stud finder for finding out thick parts of a wall framing.

What is a Monitor Mount
The standard stands, that computer monitors usually come with, are often too short and less flexible in terms of angle adjustment to obtain the right viewing angle that is healthy to eyes. Not to mention the fact, that a stand doesn't let you set your monitor in a portrait orientation. Using a monitor mount with an arm, however, can become a solution to this problem, allowing you to arrange even several screens on a desktop.
Most modern monitors have 4 holes on the back for connecting to special VESA bracket plates. In this review you will find 5 different mounts compatible with the VESA standard for optimizing your working or gaming space and arranging PC monitor in a convenient way.
