- Love the forward and back buttons on the side, they are perfectly located
- This is a high quality mouse that looks and feels great. The response of buttons is spot on and works perfectly.
- Loved the MX-Anywhere Mouse, despite their well-known mouse button failures, because that series had the perfect balance of size, weight and hand-feel. This current model has two nice new benefits and two definite flaws.
- Best mouse I've ever used! I love the horizontal scrolling and back/forward buttons especially!
- Then one day the mouse started skipping across the screen. I am not sure what the issue is but I have tried re-pairing the bluetooth and using it with the USB cable. Nothing has worked. Seems like a quality issue with the optical sensor.
- I have always liked the MX line because I prefer a small, agile mouse, and find the forward / back side buttons to be so useful that any mouse without them just seems silly.
- This MX 2S feels like it glides smoother and tracks more precisely than than original MX.
- This mouse is fantastic! Super fast and super responsive. I like how it feels but if it was just a little bit taller it would fit my hand perfectly.
- However, this one does not feel as solid and button assignment for top button which I use in Sketchup can not be programed like a have with the older MX.
- The middle button is a failure of design at best. I avidly use the middle button ALL THE TIME.
- Logitech has moved away from the glossy plastic that was in the first version. Feels great on your hands compared to the first version if you have moist/oily fingers. The geometric grip also enhances the aesthetic of the mouse.
- Perfect size for the smaller hands and ambidextrous use on any surface.
- With the removal of the battery and the redesign, mouse is very light. It is kind of drawback because it feel like you don’t have a mouse sometimes.
- Its back heavy which affects picking it up to switch device selection.
- It feel cheaper the materials are not up to par with previous gen. The plastic feels cheap. The transciever is very sharp edged unlike previous generations.
- I know this is a matter of preference, but the size of the 2S is a good size for a laptop mouse, small but not painfully so, and a good weight in a small mouse.
- This mouse's niche: It's small, and wireless, so ideal for using with a laptop for travel, away-from-home-use etc.
- This is a medium sized mouse that will not fill an adult palm. It's great for travel. I'm happy with this purchase.
- The grip is a okay. It's meant to be designed to be portable and I like that, but it feels a little too slim on the width for me. Your hand just shapes in with fingers rather than palm. There's really no where to rest your palm due to its size and shape.
- I wish I had known about the size beforehand so I would advise anyone considering this mouse to ensure that the size with work for you.
- The Pico unifying receiver is significantly reduced in profile. The mouse supports Bluetooth and the Easy-Switch technology which allows you to pair up to three supported devices at the same time and switch between them with the touch of the button.
- The mouse is capable of being used with or without the sub receiver, since it is also a bluetooth mouse and is easily paired with today's newest laptops or tablets and can pair with up to 3 devices with just the flip of a switch
- The positive is it's ability to charge via Mini-USB cable instead of depending on AA batteries, and Bluetooth connectivity with fast switching between three devices.
- Great enhancement to the prior MX. Easy programming to have up to 3 independent computers and easy to change between them with a push of a small button on the bottom of the mouse.
- The mouse supports Bluetooth and the Easy-Switch technology which allows you to pair up to three supported devices at the same time and switch between them with the touch of the button. I have no issues with pairing up with my MacBook Pro, windows laptop and my android phone.
- Connectivity options to spare. With laptops losing ports it's nice to have bluetooth as a fall back, and when Windows 10 decides to act up and not accept the bluetooth input then it's nice to have the unifying receiver to work with.
- Otherwise, the mouse is fairly standard as a wireless mouse and can connect via bluetooth with or without the included logtiech USB dongle (see pics). Battery charge can last up to 70 days on a single charge.
- Multiple connection methods - haven't used Bluetooth yet, I use the mouse across multiple laptops and I'm not about to deal with pairing, but good to know I have the option.
- Connects with Bluetooth or a small proprietary Logitech dongle. Lag is low with Bluetooth; very low/almost unnoticeable with the Dongle.
- So far this mouse has been laggy when connected via bluetooth. Both to my Mackbook Pro, and my Dell Windows 10 laptop. So that really kills one of the main reasons I wanted this mouse.
- Very solid travel mouse, with a host of features to customize the buttons. Battery life is very good between charges and precision of the surface sensor is very good. And so far it's survived the many times I've dropped it on hard surfaces without issue
- It also has several programmable buttons to let you set up short cuts for how you want to run a mouse, very task effective.
- It's great to be able to charge the mouse occasionally and not buy batteries, and the device switching is usually (though not always) quick and successful.
- All buttons are customizable with your mac or windows. These buttons has an amazing tactile feel to them, anyone who has used Logitech knows the look and feel of Logitech’s product.
- Battery life is very good between charges and precision of the surface sensor is very good. And so far it's survived the many times I've dropped it on hard surfaces without issue
- The rechargeable batter is also a nice change from the older model using regular batteries, though using it with the cord attached to charge is a little too reminiscent of the old days before wireless mice. I'm not interested in any of the document transfer software, so I can't speak to that.
- All buttons customizable with Logitech software; a range of built-in functions, or custom keyboard shortcuts.
- I really like that this version is rechargeable, but interestingly enough, without AA batteries, I really do not care for the "weight" of this mouse as I push it around my desk. I'm sure I just need to get used to it, but personally, it just seems to not feel balanced.
- All buttons customizable with Logitech software; a range of built-in functions, or custom keyboard shortcuts.
- For someone who uses this device with a laptop and is on the go, the on-off switch on this version is "inconvenient" compared to 1st gen
- Unfortunately the Options software keeps forgetting the button settings for Autocad.
