Corsair Raptor M45 Optical Sensor Gaming Mouse

I am not sure what the native specs are on the DPI sensor but I use about 900-1200 on my desktop and it feels about perfect. I certainly don't need much higher. My PC gaming is mostly done with a controller, but scrolling and clicking buttons works great for the games that need it.
It features a perfect no acceleration optical sensor, nice responsive light weight clicks and even the side buttons feel nice. It also has a very nice metal scroll wheel with a nonslip rubber coating on it which is way better than the bare metal on on the g502.
I bought this mouse primarily for the optical sensor which is currently one of the best on the market.
The M45's sensor is amazing. It is precise and smooth, even at slow speeds.
My only real complaint is that I can't seem to bind the two side buttons to different things, as in they bind together as the same button.

Great mouse for FPS Games, the DPI-on-the-fly adjustment is reliable.
This is the best mouse I have ever used the quick dpi switching allows for me to change between gaming and everyday task dpi easily
The DPI on this is great. just enought extra buttons on it to you useful and not feel like its another keyboard
I'm blown away by how easy it is to toggle DPI for in-game aim and how simply splendid it is to have toggle buttons and a sniper button to drop DPI for sniping accuracy!
I turned up the dpi all the way! You are able to adjust the snipe button to a different dpi, so when traveling across multiple monitors you can hit what your trying to click on!
Amazing customization options, great DPI settings. Mouse is very responsive, only issue is sometimes the mouse buttons get stuck.

All of those things are nice, but what really makes this mouse work well for me (with hands that barely fit in XL gloves) is the size. I used to be a claw grip with a tiny little standard mouse, but not any more.
I have small hands so at first the size of this was a bit big for me as my thumb could barely reach the second side button (M5). But like with any mouse, I was able to easily adjust and it became a non-issue after a few days.
This mouse is absolutely great. The overall size and shape of it just makes it feel so perfect in your hand, or mine at least, the adjustable weights in the bottom are a really nice touch.
Well, it is what it is. Not the top of the line and not a cheap chunk of plastic with a high price tag.
A solid, functional mouse that loses a star only for being kind of under-sized as a gaming mouse, and for that stiff wheel.

The interchangeable weights make finding the right feel great.
Love the mouse. Like the weight of it and it works great that you can adjust the weight to your liking. Feels very comfortable in hand.
Good mouse, comes with customizable weights which makes this good for those who like customizable weights, though keep in mind that even with all weights removed, it is still massively heavy.
I was skeptical due to the size with my clown size hands, but it fits quite nicely and all of the buttons are placed well. The construction of the device is also pretty good.
We ended up returning this mouse because even without the added weights it was pretty heavy and uncomfortable.
It is built for right handers unless you do mot care for the leftside sniper, back, and forward buttons.

The cord on the mouse is the cloth-like material that keeps the cords from being tangled
The braided cord has held up extremely well, as well as the whole mouse. Quality is top notch. Look no further for your next mouse.
The cord is nice and long, and feels like it is made out of a more durable material. It feels well built.
The cord is long and has tightly woven sleeving covering it.
Downside to the cloth cord is that it gets dirty.

Its a wired mouse, and has a cord like para-cord so it's kinda durable and doesn't seem to get easily tangled.
Braided cord is a plus with plenty of length.
The cord is braided and comes with a velcro band for cable management.
Was an alright mouse while i had it but unfortunately the cord lost its connection with the device.

It has 3 programmable speed settings that can be accessed by the buttons on the top under the wheel and each can be set to a specific Dpi in the software.
This mouse is well made, good design and nice looking. The software is highly programmable.
This is the first gaming mouse I've ever gotten and it said it had 7 programmable buttons. I didn't realize that the 7 buttons included left mouse, right mouse, and middle mouse.
The removable weights system is awesome and is actually usefull if you play games where precision clicking is necessary. Glides smooth and senses great on wood desk, mouse pad, and vinyl.
There are only basic buttons; the mouse is not programmable like other higher cost mice

The lightning is just a cool extra and it does not seem to generate heat.
The aluminum chassis, rubberized top and sandpaper-like sides make for an incredibly well crafted device.
The scroll wheel feels elegant as well, with a really nice rubber material and super smooth scrolling action
The mouse has programmable buttons which you can use for work and gaming.
I love the mouse and how it fits my larger sized hands. The only caveat is that the software has sometimes crashed on Windows 10.
Mouse is ok except for software which is filled with bugs.
