- With price, size, and build quality put into consideration, I found this to be the best solution.
- It's design and size make it portable.
- This Kingston USB memory reader is the perfect size and it fits nicely below my iMAC.
- Great compact size. East to carry and use.
- This is great. Perfect size, light but well made.
- This is more right sized and easier to find in my laptop case when I do take it out and about. It is narrow, so it is more portable than I thought it would be too.
- Compact and very versatile. Can accept many sizes and the down load is easy as connecting to a usb on your computer!
- Very easy to use. Good size and weight.
- Excellent product. Good size, the different card formats can be easily inserted and it is a very fast reader when connected to a USB 3 port.
- It is a little large for a non-powered card reader, about the size of a tin of Altoids mints.
- The USB 3.0 feature is the No.1 reason for investing in one of these.
- The "Kingston" piece on the top of the reader turns a bright red color when the card reader is in use.
- There is red light when it is on and this is a good feature.
- One of the best features i like is the fact that you can import from multiple cards at the same time which makes it super efficient!
- I also found the long USB cord that is supplied with the card reader to be generous.
- Fits and then reads more than one card at a time.
- More flexible, in that it's easier to shuffle cards into a reader than shuffle cards into a camera. This might not matter to you, depending on your card storage capacity, and how much you need to transfer.
- This replaced an old SanDisk ImageMate reader that could not handle the higher capacity CF and SD cards. I've had no problems at all with cards ranging from 256MB to 64GB.
- The Kingston high speed media reader is exactly that, high speed. With its USB 3 connection it can transfer files from your memory cards at far higher speeds than most computers built in media readers.
- Plastic shell. Light, yes., Rugged, no. That said, it does not feel flimsy in the hand.
- For micro SD and regular SD cards this is a very fast reader. For compact flash cards, is does not work well. If I sit there and hold the CF card in the slot with constant pressure, the device will sometimes work.
