- Its compact size doesn't take up the whole table.
- The trackpad is a bit tiny, but I guess that's necessary for the size of the keyboard, and it's still nice to have.
- A type cover and a Surface is almost exactly a laptop, in a product the size of a tablet.
- This version functions just like a full-size keyboard.
- This thing is a little small but I am getting used to it, usually use a regular sized keyboard. Good for travel.
- Perfect size keys (it could be improved).
- This cover said it was an universal size that fit all Surface Pros.
- It is not the same size as the screen, it's maybe an inch shorter on the short side. I like this.
- The only drawback on the Type Cover 2 is the size of the included touchpad.
- That said, it still is almost impossible to type an essay on these. It has to do with the size.
- I like the raised keys, and they have enough travel to feel like a real keyboard.
- It is a silent keyboard as well, so when I'm flying on the keys, it is still noiseless.
- Easy set up. Keys are easy to type with.
- The keys have a nice bounce to them, and have a reasonable amount of travel to them.
- I like actually feeling the keys when I type.
- All the keys and functions work fine.
- The plastic keys and the fabric cover are very nice to touch and they are strong.
- I like flat keyboards, and this keyboard allows you to easily glide from key to key for very fast typing.
- The keys are pretty good and the backlighting does help in darker rooms.
- I like the feel of the keys. It is like typing on an actual keyboard.
- The only typing difference between this keyboard and the old, is a tiny light on the cap-lock key.
- Having the old school keys, which are remarkably flat but 'punchable' is a good feature.
- The Surface Pro as a product is sleek and certainly multi-featured.
- Nice media and quick button features placed on the function keys.
- I will note though, that it does not have the automatic sleep feature when you close the cover on the surface.
- This keyboard interfaces with the surface screen and causes the Surface to turns off when the cover is closed.
- The type cover features a backlit keyboard with 3-Level of intensity.
- The keyboard is easy to connect and disconnect to the tablet.
- It is has a back light for typing at night or in low lights.
- One very nice feature is when folded back to lend a tablet format to the Surface Pro the keyboard is deactivated.
