Enough customizable buttons for what I want in Elite dangerous.
The buttons are quality though a little "clicky" like microswitches.
Better quality buttons, higher quality materials all around.
It will take a few missions to get used to the button layout - some buttons are automatically remapped on the Hotas One.
Very little visible metal. All buttons are plastic.

The button layout is great. Perfect for Elite Dangerous.
No problems though once I found out how to remap the buttons it worked flawlessly.
Very smooth controls. The buttons are all well placed and feel right.
The feel and button placement is well done.
Some of the buttons are awkward, but can be altered.

As for size and comfort, I have fairly big hands and I thought this would be a problem.
Highly recommend this! Very good size for my desk.

Splitting is a really great feature that I appreciate.
Worked with no hiccups. Only real thing I could wish for was a rumble feature.
This joystick and throttle were literally game-changing for Elite Dangerous when I first set it up.
I love the friction on the joystick and didn't have to adjust it anymore than it was already preset on.
You can use the Joystick to yaw left/right, in my opinion I don't very much like that feature.

That being said, for the value it has a great set of features that aren't covered completely in the product description.
There are other small features that are nice as well.
It was easy to get to work on my PC, it is customizable with plenty of features and has a good feel.
Another cool feature is that you can adjust the stiffness of the joystick to make it turn faster or slower.
My expectations were that i was going to be able to use this joystick in games that feature air combat. Not a lot of games out there support it.
